We stayed in the hotel part of the resort and there was some road noise.

Loved the pool and proximity to the ocean. Restaurant was excellent, as were drinks by the bar at the pool. The service was excellent- there was a power outage out of three control of management and they found us somewhere (more expensive) to stay the first night of stay and made sure that everything worked out.

Very clean and newly renovated. Location was great, view was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Never ate dinner there, prices were a little higher. But easy access to the shops/restautants in town. Walk about 20 min.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. But we ate most of our meals in dining room so not a big deal.

The beach was at the south end of Jaco and not very crowded. Food was excellent and condo with nice view of ocean. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pool was excellent and surf lessons fun!

We loved everything about this hotel. If you wanted to eat out at other restaurants or go for groceries, it's a 20 min walk to the downtown Jaco area.

We stayed in a two bedroom ocean view condo and it was spacious, modern and comfortable. The pool is a nice temperature and large, the food is very good, and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast was amazing. We loved the location, right on the beach. Everything you need is at the hotel

The food and drinks were a bit pricey. There were not any other options nearby without either walking about a mile on the beach into town, or driving.

It is a lovely property. Small boutique style hotel on the very south edge of Jaco beach. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is right on the beach with a small public lawn between the hotel and the beach. Beautiful view from the restaurant, pool and rooms. And fairly close to many attractions and activities - tours, hikes, waterfalls, etc.

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. It is very clean, we had all the amenities needed in the kitchen, but the food was really good at the restaurant that we didn’t need to cook. Loved the washer/dryer in the unit. The grounds are well maintained and the staff were very friendly; Julio and David at the front desk to Marvin, Olman, William, Oscar, and Jose in the restaurant/pool bar. They are excellent and ensure for the best experience.

I can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay!

We loved everything about our stay! The location was perfect; on the south end of Jaco and an easy drive to visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Our two bed/two bath condo on the beach was wonderful. The condo was clean and furnished beautifully. The free breakfast was so good and and the lunch and dinner menus had great variety. We ate all of our meals there and the four of us enjoyed every dish. The best part about Club del Mar was the friendly, helpful staff. From reception, to management, to the pool bar and the restaurant everyone made us feel welcome and pampered. The restaurant servers were the best. We didn't want to leave! The main building can be a little noisy due to the trucks driving past. (Honestly, you’ll stop noticing it after a couple of days.)

The staff in the restaurant were fantastic. Manny, Oscar, and Jose were all very attentive and helpful. Manny even helped me learn some Spanish.

a little niggle....there is a line of six sunbeams with no umbrellas..nobody ever sits on them because of the total lack of shade....but it didn't affect our stay.

location is perfect for Jaco..away from the centre of town at the end of a fabulous beach. Food in the hotel is outstanding for the price and the hotel is seriously well run.

Everything closed down very early, the bar was always shut by 10 pm. There wasn’t any atmosphere in the evenings.

It was in a lovely spot at the end of the beach. The sunsets were exceptional every night. The staff were excellent. It had a nice personal touch. The inclusive breakfast was very good, nice menu, plenty to eat and drink and waiter service. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with lovely views over the pool and beach. Very pretty. The pool bar was very nice at lunchtime too.

Unlike all hotels we have stayed in that have a coffee maker, Club del Mar does not supply any tea or coffee in your room. Surprising for a hotel at this level to neglect this. Coffee is available in the lobby but providing in the room should be a given in todays world Some truck noise from the road and hill behind the resort.

Great pool and beachfront areas. Spacious room. Good breakfast. Very close to El Mirador walk. Not too far to walk into town.

A perfect start to our holiday, less than 2 hours from San Jose Airport. Secluded from busy Jaco but close enough to walk in. Views of the sea from every room. Great staff who were incredibly attentive and friendly. Whole place was pristine. The Tiki bar kept the drinks flowing. Excellent breakfast and dinners. Couldn’t fault it!
