A good place to stay before or after taking the ferry. It has a nice pool, spacious rooms, and secure private parking. It's safe and has a motel-like feel. Conveniently close to the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants. Plus, there's a fridge in the room.

we stayed here for one night to catch a ferry we thought it was excellent value for money. it was perfect for us. the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. The room had a coffee machine and delicious coffee which was very welcome. the pool was also refreshing and very clean. excellent restaurant just round the corner for breakfast.

Old shower and the silk got stuck.

The staff was great, they helped us with the laundry. The pool was very convenient as it was very hot. The AC worked perfectly. I would go back again.

The location is great, the hotel is a little older but updated recently and very clean. The pool is small but functional and friendly. Quiet at night, secured parking, 24 hour front desk.

No complaints-I really liked it there. But: 1 the football field(soccer in US). Is right across the street. Puntarenas played Liberia the first night I Was there. Must have been a great game! About 11pm when it quieted down. 2. From the outside, and a lot of the area, it looks pretty old and worn, but it really isnt.

The price was especially good, the location is fantastic. We had 2 rooms (4 people) for 2 nights. A little over $200 US. Right by the cruise ship pier and paseo de los turistos (a promenade with carts/stalls selling things right by the beach with a good sidewalk). 1.5 kilometers to the point and lighthouse, 1200CRC or about $2 cab fare. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. A small grocery and mini super 1 block away from beach. It seems they typically cater to Costa Ricans as there were no other Anglos there when I stayed but the reception staff spoke pretty good English and I can sort of speak Spanish. The rooms were shockingly nice, I really did not expect that at the price! Modern showers (hot water), tile floors and decent beds, mini fridge, air conditioning, cable TV, nice pool. not a resort but no complaints

I payed a room for 3 people but only got 1 towel. not even a hand towel or a soap and shampoo. I mean this level of cheap it’s just bizarre.

Unfortunately, the fridge was not connected when I entered the room (which is not too tragical). There was not really a place to hang my wet stuff but luckily they hung them somewhere else for me. The shower in the bathroom was not good, almost no water came out and it splashed everywhere. Of course this is not the fault of the hotel, but the pool was almost always occupied by other guests who were very loud, beginning at 8am in the morning. And the surrounding of the pool is not very beautiful to relax in there for a long time.

The owner of the hotel is incredibly friendly, he helped me a lot with my future journey and could answer every question. Also the other workers were nice and helped me. The room was very nice and big with two beds, a table and a fridge. Much better than expected. The bathroom was also very nice in general and there was a pool.

No water!!! I had to use fresh water to finish to shower. The personal of the establishment doesn’t give a damn, no financial compensenation offered, not even a bottle of water to replace to one I had to use. Additionally, rooms are old. Really not good quality/price ratio, especially for this country. I don’t really recommend

Very expensive for what you get! Pool is basically in the garage, a bit strange and in our opinion not really useable. Close to streets with blaring music which seems to never stop.

The room was gross. There were hairs on the floor and even in our bed. Besides that there were ants crawling over the floor and one of the towels had a few make up stains from someone else. We told an employee and she sent someone to clean our room again. But after that there were still hairs on the floor and when we opened the sheets of our bed there were more hairs in there. Really really really gross. Would definitely not recommend!

Good to sleep but not really to spend much time in the accommodation / room.

Ok for one night if you need to stop for the night or want to catch the ferry. Room was small and dark but clean. Nice and friendly staff!

Very noisy, both due to other travellers staying at the hotel and the surroundings. Speaking of surroundings, I would definitely not recommend Puntarenas, it's a very run down place.

Very nice hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms with all amenities needed for a short stay. Probably the nicest hotel during our 2-week vacation in Costa Rica

We stayed in this hotel as an overnight before taking the Paquera ferry to the Guanacaste Peninsula. The hotel was clean and acceptable. Certainly no frills but all we needed was a bed to rest our heads before moving on. This hotel fit the bill just fine.
