The shower didn’t work properly. not enough water flow. We told our host about it.

The host was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge which we like to have in our room. Nice restaurant close by and close to the beach.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful - even left milk and coffee out for me as I had a very early start. They also gave me a sample of their own food they were cooking which smelt so delicious! Good luck with your architecture business too Katarina!

Great place very close to the busstation. The host and her mother were super kind and helpful. The place is very very clean and the beds are very comfortable! Would recommend to stay here if you need to spend a night in Puntarenas.

Very friendly hosts, clean rooms. The location is perfect if you are travelling by bus as the bus stop is only 200 Meter away.

A great choice for staying in Puntarena.... really clean, comfy beds and super quiet room. Just what we needed after a long day travelling. Really close to the bus terminal, seaside cafes and also the fabulous Casa de cultura area only a block away too... We recommend.

lovely family run business, staff very helpful felt very secure, room very comfortable, lovely air con. great wifi. at the time if our trip they also had an arrangement with a nearby pool to use free of charge. be sure to ask as they won’t necessarily tell you.

This was the best hotel we had in Costa Rica. The two ladies are so nice and friendly. They even made us a little tapas plate to make us feel extra welcome. The hotel is even MUCH better thank you expect from the pictures; the rooms are really big and very clean and good looking, a little Ibiza vibes. We booked this hotel for one night but we are going back in two days because we had just such a wonderfull time over here. Nearby the ferry to Paquera, just a 5 minute drive. EXCELLENT!!!!!

Wonderful staff, clean rooms. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling! The perfect spot if you’re leaving San Jose airport and taking the ferry in the morning!

I do not mind simple, but there are limits. I also do not mind shared kitchens, but then it needs to be a kitchen and not a lumber room that is also the laundry room and storage for detergents. The equipment was a hodgepodge where nothing fit and we were happy to find at least two mugs for coffee. Overall I had the feeling that the location was still a construction site, not ready for guests. I also cannot confirm other reviews that it is a quiet place. There was a pub closeby that played loud music for a very long time. The owners do only speak Spanish which should not be an issue but unfortunately they did not buy into my attempts to use Google Translate. Therefore communication was more than difficult.

while the entrance door made was to be lock at all times made great sense for security reasons; however, the inside door was a deadbolt operated only by a key, which in time of emergency such as fire not having access to a turning latch deadbolt from the inside may put people at risk of being trap inside in the hallway at the door area.
