The restaurant server was not organized well. Food came, but the utensils had to be asked for. Tea was lukewarm as was the coffee.

Breakfast was good, but the server was not efficient.

Staff was amazing providing recommendations for restaurants, local beaches and assisting with laundry services. Apartment was dated (not a big deal) but spacious and clean. Kitchen fairly well equipped for our needs.

There were limited television options. The sofa was position under the television, so we had to move the sofa to a more convenient location.

This was a great place to stay with our family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We arrived late (after the reception desk closed) and were given very helpful guidance on how to enter the hotel after hours. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool. Service was outstanding.

Transportation is required to most places. If able, I would suggest renting a car because it makes getting around a bit more tedious. With that being said, everyone was very helpful with helping to plan rides and call taxi's. One suggestion would be to have a daily shuttle that makes trips to places like Tamarindo or drop offs to the beach/ spots, Moonlight market etc and attractions in the area. A few more options for breakfast would be lovely as well.

Writing this on behalf of my parents, who I booked this hotel for - They were happy with their stay at this hotel. The grounds were immaculately kept, customer service was excellent, room was comfortable! They enjoyed their stay in Costa Rica.

You will need a car to get around. There was no restaurant on the property except a limited breakfast option. We were there during off season. I was told they have a breakfast buffet during the busier times. There are good restaurant options nearby that you can drive to.

It is a very nice property with a nice pool and very clean rooms. The staff is great

We didn't have a car therefore the following 2 points were of importance to us. We were told the nearest beach was within walking distance. It would be if there were sidewalks. We did it once and took us a very long time as we had to walk in the ditch. We didn't risk our lives again. We booked this hotel because it has a restaurant and bar. To find out it was only open for breakfast therefore we had to taxi into town every day

the property was peaceful and very well maintained. The rooms were lovely with adequate balcony. Comfortable beds

Not unlike most of Guanacaste, the road leading to the property gets awfully dark. We were there just before the new moon so no light at all. On that note, at 6:30 pm I missed the hotel entrance twice which I identified a million times better during the day. So whilst there could be more signs or lights, I could have also paid more attention

The property is beautiful I was surprised, it feels like an ancient colonial building not unlike Antigua Guatemala. The rooms were more than Ok for the price, comfortable beds (even the couch). They told us the pool would be closed so we got a room upgrade. it wasn’t closed which was great to find after driving five hours from San Jose to rest there. If you go by 4x4, there is a ton of secluded nice beaches (especially playa Minas)

There is no restaurant or bar besides breakfast. So you have to go into town to eat.

Restaurant was not working because of the off season. There was a black ant infestation in the room. We brought take out and they got into styrofoam containers. There were 100s of them

The only problem was the wifi not being a very good connection but I was able to move to areas where it would work better.

It was a lovely hotel and has beautiful gardens. Iv forgotten the name of the main receptionist through out my trip now, but she was so lovely, helpful and kind!
