Being picked up from the airport by Aunty Nane to our whole stay to departure. The whole experience at Temanu was above amazing! And we will definitely be coming back next year and this time for a longer stay.

The room was great for 3 people. The room was nicely decorated and the indoor and out door bathrooms were lovely. The gardens were immaculate.

Casual luxury is exactly what you get . Great location, great food , great service. Nothing was a problem. We spent 7 nights in a Beachfront Bungalow. Room 202 . Although all the bungalows look great and are located well it was worth the extra to be right on the beachfront. Having a beautiful breakfast included is fantastic and with either continental and / or full cooked al acarte it certainly sets you up for the day ! Don’t bother looking elsewhere, Tamanu Beach Resort is where you need to be 😊.Look forward to a return visit soon.

Our stay was too short.

Our experience was awesome even though we didn’t book any excursions because the ones that suited us were not operating at the moment, it did not faze us at all. The hospitality was so genuine its reflected by the history of the place and it’s humble beginnings also owned by locals and run by locals absolutely loved it.

Everything was perfect. Well apportioned spacious rooms with balconies to relax on, steps away from the beach that had amazing snorkeling, great food and staff that made everything seem effortless to accommodate our needs.

The overall enthusiasm and level of hospitality from the restaurant staff could be improved.

Location! Beach front on the lagoon perfect for snorkelling, kayak, SUP etc. Hotel has free bicycles and cheap rates to hire moped direct from the hotel.

Breakfast was great. There was a continental breakfast you could help yourself with. I enjoyed the pastries and fruits. Plus a la cart you could choose from. I highly can recommend the French toast. The super friendly staff are always happy to help and assist you. Our hut was spacious and clean, and had comfortable beds. Beautiful location on the beach. Great sunsets!

there was nothing that we did not like I have a suggestion and its only a minuet picky one...the bed we had was so hard, I woke everynight/morning with a sore back. After the third night I did ask if there were any mattress toppers! so maybe a suggestion for the future.

We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was great could either order from menu or have fruit and cereal. We got to have a complimentary barista coffee each morning. We arrived on a Sunday so done the BBQ night lovely fresh salads there was fish, sausages, steak and lamb chops it was a full house and even though it was a buffet the meat wasn't topped up so some of us missed out on the lamb chops but there was still other options avail. the pool and grounds were clean.. the rooms are spacious and the bathroom had a huge shower, there was also an outdoor shower which we used most of the time.. The snorkeling was great out the front of the resort, we were in the adults only part of the resort with a nice pool

A great resort - the room exceeded our expectations and Aitutaki itself is so beautiful it wouldn't matter where you stayed. Our room was virtually on the beach even though we did not have a seaview room. The resort restaurant was good, island night is a must do. Prices were reasonable for food and drink. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The resort facilities were great - bikes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards all available when you wanted to use them. You can also hire a scooter for 24 hours for $30!

found a couple of cockroaches during our stay- probably normal since we were on an island

Tamanu was great. Staff are lovely, they will always greet you with a smile. The guy who helped us checked in was really helpful and friendly. Great views for sunset, beach was really nice. Restaurant had THE best food, cocktails were well priced. Free use of paddleboards, kayak and bikes. Very lovely team- it's a must to stay here!
