The hotel facilities are not nearly as bad as some of the reviews. We liked our room fine and the breakfast is nice. That said, they post all the pictures and even list the spa and sauna facilities as part of the package (after booking you get an email detailing what is extra and what is part of the hotel fee). It feels a bit scam-y. I loved the sauna facilities but the only advantage you get is a 15% discount to the pool (not the spa) so you could easily stay somewhere else and jsut pay to use the services. It wasn't that bad, but I won't be back.

The facilities were limited. the sauna and steam area was closed. The lounge area was closed, meaning that there was nowhere to sit and chat or to get drinks in the evening. the rooms were poorly kitted, one room did not have electricity, our room did not have any lamps.

The baths are fabulous, particularly the larger pools. the breakfast was good, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. It is the perfect location with direct access to teh Alpentherms.

I have been going to this property for over 25 years and have watched it decline slowly but surely. It is very tired snd in need of a big renovation. The hotel’s own baths were closed so we were given free passes to the adjoining alpentherme baths which way great but even their facilities have declined although the baths themselves remain great. The staff in the hotel were very friendly which was good . But the bar lounge in the lobby is now closed and the breakfast while adequate doesn’t compare to the sumptuous buffet of past years. Our room was clean and we did have a mini fridge which was great but the bathroom although clean way very very old and there were cracks and holes in the shower basin etc. If you only want a hotel to sleep in it’s ok but overall the hotel is no longer inviting.

It’s location is wonderful - before it’s own baths were nice snd it adjoins by underground to the Alpentherme public baths so no need to dress in outside clothes to get there!

The property is on the bankruptcy stage. Noting was working properly. Even all the lifts on the pool side are out of service. The sauna was nice 20 years ago but today half of it is not working and even the management is shutting down half the bulbs to save money. Honestly this place is a joke.

The location is just perfect.

IT was very very confusing to reach the lobby for check in, there are no signs and we arrived late evening there was no one around and we were lost for 30mins. It is very hard trying to navigate the way as there are 3 hotels right next to each other and no information provided online/ emailed to customers before hand.

Breakfast was a pleasant experience and the thermal spa/pool was amazing, worth the money to spend time here

Knowing the different buildings of the property, I reserved a specific kind of room, and upon check-in was informed that the hotel was performing renovation work and “upgraded” me a room in a different hotel (3 hotels are part of the property). the bath facilities of the hotel I booked was the main reason of my stay, but they were also in renovation. I would have appreciated advance notice and would have probably not stayed in the other hotel they offered me. For obscure reasons, there was no wi-fi in my room, only at the reception. I had absolutely no view from my room as there is a big (like very big) tree just opposite the window.

Room (Hotel de France) was OK, breakfast also.

after reading the many negative comments, I arrived a little weary. indeed the hotel and the bar have seen better days, but we found our two night stay to be a good deal. special note for the sauna village!

Locating the hotel in Leukerbad and driving there is not simple.

Thermal baths & sauna village were wonderful! Breakfast amazing. Staff very forthcoming and receptive. We had a gorgeous view over the mountains with direct access to the thermal baths area. A wonderfully relaxing visit with children.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with a lot of choice. Excellent location in the center of Leukerbad right in front of the Alpentherme baths and close to a lot of restaurants.

No facilities for dining at hotel. No bar either. And I think the bed had fleas as I got bitten🙈

The staff were lovely. Very obliging. Sadly lots of things were closed, ie bar, restaurant for dinner, bistro and bakery.

I booked this property seeing that the reviews weren't so great and I did have some concerns, but after my visit I am rather baffled. The property was neat and really comfy, I loved the free wellness area with a sauna, a pool. I guess the only thing that one could miss was an AC unit for hotter days. Otherwise, I really had an excellent stay. The breakfast buffet was also really good :).
