the bed :-( The mattress would have been comfortable (it was a nice balance between soft and firm) - BUT it sagged in the middle. Distinctly u-shaped. I suspect it would be ok for people who sleep on their backs (kind of like a hammock), but we had issues with it. That said - the plusses outweighed the minuses.

Location was fantastic. Very central, and not noisy. Air conditioning was very good - cooled the room down quickly, and was quiet! Considering the highs of +43C, this was very much appreciated! Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Access to the butterfly reserve and pool at the Midas hotel (20 minute walk away) was much appreciated.

Really the only downside was the bed. The mattress was comfortable, except that it sunk in the middle. It was dramatically lower in the middle than it was on the sides or the ends.

Location was great, and air conditioning was great, room was quiet. Shower was fine, sometimes took a while to get hot water.

Excellent location, good WiFi, free drinking water available at reception, clean and comfortable room. There is no breakfast available but Pop's is only a couple of mins away for freshly cooked food.

We had some issues with our AC but got there eventually.

We were upgraded for free on arrival to a room with a huge bed, which was great. The fridge-freezer in the room proved very handy!

Friendly staff and the excursions bookable through the hotel were great. Liked having access to the swimming pool at the sister hotel in the town. Location was ideal.

Location was prime, right down town. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating to our arrival time because our other transport got delayed to arrive on time. We got a complimentary room upgrade.

I would have liked a bigger room but the price was right for the one we had.

This is a fairly basic hotel but we knew that when we booked. The location is very central and there is a lot within walking distance. The free parking is a huge plus.

The room we had was far different (worse) to the one in the photos. The only window opened straight out onto a shipping container so we had no natural light and the room was old and tatty. There was no outdoor seating area in the hotel and nothjng to see/do in the immediate vicinity.

Very small thing but a soap dish in the bathroom would be a great addition! No restaurant or breakfast but plenty of places to eat nearby.

Really spacious apartment and huge, comfortable bed. There were two TVs with working Netflix etc. The apartment had everything you need to cook basic meals and breakfast. Good location in the centre of San Ignacio. They can organise tours for you at reception and we were happy with the service.

The room was clean and well equipped, the TV had netflix, good AC and van, beds are nice, bathroom was good, they washed our clothes for a good price, in the middle of the city centre, we really enjoyed!
