Staff was not available at night when the gas tank that heated shower became empty.

Breakfast was not provided. The location was convenient-- right along the sidewalk near the pier with easy access to restaurants, bars and tour company. The staff was helpful and friendly beyond all expectations. She helped us find a guide to see the Scarlet Macaws & to take boat tour to Monkey Island. She helped us find transportation north when it was time to depart.

Apart from the room other facilities are limited. We would have liked bikes to make it easier to get around and a shuttle service to/from the airport would have been handy.

Located on the Broadwalk close to Placencia Beach the hotel is easy to find. It is also easy to get around Plecencia on foot and there are plenty 0f bars and eateries within a couple of minutes walk. The beach is also a couple of minutes walk away. The rooms were really big with king size beds which were really comfortable. The rooms included a fridge, coffee machine and aricon as well as a tv. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Top floor deck area is a useful area for drying clothes.

This is a budget option on the Sidewalk near the village. Staff was wonderful. Few amenities. Arranged laundry service, rides, etc.

The staff were so very welcoming and helpful, and the location was spectacular. They had strong WiFi and the fridge and hair dryer were a plus. We also appreciated the clothesline and rooftop lounge chairs. We loved being so close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

There was nothing I did not like about this place. It was exceptional.

As other reviewers stated, the outside of the building needed a little bit of paint but I expected that. The building was actually quite charming. The room was more spacious than I expected. We had a nice comfy single bed with a small kitchenette area in the corner. There was also a good size closet that was able to hold all of our luggage on a built in bench complete with hangers. They cleaned the rooms daily. The front desk staff was exceptionally nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The wifi worked great, the water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Everything worked and was clean and nice. The location was right in the middle of the action but not close enough to be loud. We were able to walk everywhere from this location. Close to plenty of bars, shopping and restaurants. Lots of local culture. Great stay. I will definitely book here again.

The manager is a gem! She went above and beyond my expectations to make my stay excellent. She took care of my luggage when I arrived early, directed me around town and made my taxi reservations to leave. Every interaction was charming and friendly. This woman deserves the best from the owners.

I would have preferred to be on the upper floor but that wasn't possible. In general the open outside hallway concept in Central America can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Also be careful with the street food/bbq stands. It turns out they use coconut oil and some other condiments you might not used to that might give you an upset stomach which was my case.

Sara the lady at the reception is a kind soul. She went beyond and above to make sure that I was well informed about the ferry to Guatemala. She was very polite and the hotel was spotless which I have a feeling is also thanks to her supervision. I'd definitely recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay in Placencia. The rooms are literally a stone away from the beach. Because of the wind the beach wasn't in perfect condition but there is nothing to do about that. Overall great value for expensive Placencia standards.

No balcony to sit on and the TV service is very limited, but the wifi was pretty good, so I just watched news from home on my phone.

Great location. In the middle of the sidewalk area, steps from a beach, and near the pier, so basically where you want to be, near the restaurants and the tour companies. The hotel is not fancy, but it perfect for a beach vacation.

The only thing we would have liked is a veranda or deck, this particular room did not have one. There was a rooftop deck but those spiral stairs were a bit scary.

Nothing. We love this place. It isn't fancy, but how much time do you really spend in your room when you're in paradise? For the price, this place is awesome. I don't know what more to say to meet the word number requirement.

This is our second stay at the Sea View Suites. We love it here. Right on the beach and comfy rooms. The water pressure in the shower is amazing!!! The small kitchenette is nice, we could make our own coffee every morning, store cold drinks in the fridge, and make little meals on the hot plate. Also, we never heard other people unless they were in the hall.

I thought everything was as promised in the listing. The only one extra item that could be helpful would be some directions to find the property from Placencia Road. However, my son had stopped at a nearby restaurant and one of the employees walked our son to the hotel and then we went to eat dinner. So, it all worked out!
