Friendly staff, nice facilities. Good location being close to town/ shops and boardwalk while also being far enough away from other places that sounds didn't travel far or hear other people's late night conversations outside of the property.

Only tiny thing was that the toilets smelt a bit bad as they had no airflow into/out of them. Just a tiny suggestion for something to fix that or the smell.

Amazing location. Love the decor and colours. Comfortable large sturdy bunks, great internet, Pandora was super helpful. Kitchen well stocked with cooking stuff.

Amazing location right next to the beach and awesome host, Pandora, who gave great help with info on the area and what there is to do. Great value for money. Free kayaks and snorkels to borrow were great fun too! I definitely recommend anyone going to placencia to stay here.

Such a lovely place in a gorgeous location right on the beach in Placencia. Pandora is a fabulous host and is so helpful and friendly - they also offer free kayaks, snorkels to use and are very helpful with advice on what to do / where to look etc. Only wish I could have stayed for longer!

The location of the hostel was really good. Right next to the beach and close to restaurants. The bed was really comfortable and on top of that, we received a towel for the shower. The housekeeper cleaned the entire building every day. The kitchen was also really well-equipped

Pandora was a very accommodating host. Very basic and clean 5 bunk hostel in a great location right on the beach. Very eclectic group of travelers rotated through the hostel the 5 days we were there. Slept great each night. Constantly kept clean and Pandora is very helpful with anything you need. Showers had hot water and restroom was very clean. Close to the public pier and sidewalk shopping.

I did not like that I could not stay longer in Placencia.

This hostel is located in a very relaxed atmosphere. The February 82 degree ocean is less than 50 yards from the hostel door. There are manatees, corals, sting rays, dolphins and nurse sharks that can be seen when you snorkel off the beach or around the near by island of Placencia. Pandora and Lydia are exceptional hosts. Pandora owns and runs the hostel with a plethora of information about tours, ferry scheludes, nightlife, local eats and life stories. Lydia cleans the hostel everyday and that can be a big job considering how many guests are tracking sand into their beds. Lydia also runs Mamalicious restaurante located off the sidewalk right in front of the hostel. Lydia serves inexpensive delicious food (fried tacos, fryjacks and Pupusas occasionally) from 4-8pm everyday except Sunday. You can drink the water from the tap, which is awesome. The 10 bunk beds with their fans and outlets are comfortable. Not that you will need it but the shower has warm water. The kitchen is equipped for cooking almost anything but not at 2am please. If you want to relax and swim and hang in the sun on the beach this is for you. To all you hostelers out there a side note-if you are getting up in the morning before 7 am please pack ALL your belongings the night before so that you show some consideration for the individuals that are sleeping right next to you. Yes I know it is a hostel but that does not mean you cannot be quiet while others are trying to rest up for their days adventures. Same goes if you arrive to the hostel late.

The location was AMAZING, so close to the beach and right on the main sidewalk. Also right next door to an awesome local food shop. Pandora was also so accommodating and helpful giving us all the info we needed to have a beautiful stay in Placencia.

Not much to not like. There could have been a microwave. Everyone had a fan but air-conditioning would have been nice. For the price it was a very good value.

Someone came in everyday and cleaned, it had a well stocked kitchen-stove,refrigerator, sink, cupboards, counter top, silverware, pots and pans, glasses are cups also seasonings for your use and ice water provided. An adequate common area. There was snorkeling equipment and a couple of kayaks to use with the only stipulation was to let the owner know you had them. What really made it a good experience was the location. Right next to the beach and the water in the Gulf of Mexico was warm and I went in January. The beach was beautiful with white sand and palm trees. It was the best value of my entire trip and I visited Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker, San Ignacio Belize City and Placencia. The owner was cheerful and helpful.
