The stairs to the terrace were a little askew so felt unsafe. The large step at the bottom of the main stairs was hard work. The staff would only sell us hot water for tea. The room really needed air conditioning when we were there. The staff didn’t communicate what was happening when the electricity was off for over 12 hours.

Watching the sunset from the roof terrace was a great after a day snorkelling or diving. The swimming pool was kept clean and a good way to cool off. The room was comfortable.

Accommodation is right on the sea front, with excellent sunset views. Close to some very good restaurants just across the street. Very well kept and clean, super nice host.

The edges of the room could have been cleaner and could have had more storage for clothes/bags. The rooftop only had a park bench on it and, while there were fairy lights, they did not work. It wouldn't take much to make the rooftop a bit nicer.

Really good location, nice to have a rooftop to watch sunset, room was a decent size. The restaurant on site was good for breakfast too.

The location was excellent - being on the lagoon side means you’re out of the wind, and we were close to the water taxi station and several nice restaurants, but slightly removed from the golf cart traffic. The pool is an excellent perk. The owner was very accommodating and gave us good recommendations.

The room we stayed in was outdated. Bathroom and room needs renos but Mike had made it as comfortable as possible. Needs renos in that particular suite.

The Location! Location! Perfectly situated on the lagoon! Perfect place in the center. Mike the owner is amazing! He is excellent in communication and very quick with solution. Internet was good. A little patchy at night but overall good! The pool and outdoor space was excellent add on! Mike kept the pool very clean which we appreciated very much because of our kids. Very nice property! And Location. Extremely close to resturants and Delis.

The beds

This is a nice small hotel on the West side of the island. The place is very clean. The beds are a little too thin for my back, but the shower was great with hot water and lots of pressure! The walls are pretty thin, so if anyone talking in the pool area, which is where all the rooms are located around, you hear everything. Just bring ear plugs! The small mini fridge was a plus in the room. No room safe though, but we had no issues. The location of the hotel is in a quiet area which is nice to get away from all the golf carts. Across the street is were a lot the local fisherman park their boats, so my husband enjoyed watching them clean fish, conch, and lobster. We also watched the sunset every night off one of the docks. The restaurant on property had good breakfast burritos as well. The hotel is very easy walking distance to a lot of good local places to eat! We felt safe the whole time we stayed in San Pedro.

Well, this isn't really a negative but I think the interior of the room could use a bit of a paint job at least. Everything was functional and comfortable but the room was definitely due a bit of TLC.

Good Location. Its on the opposite shore from the town centre but everything from the Water taxi station to the main beachside cafes and restaurants and all the dive and snorkel centres are within 5 mins walking distance. So you can enjoy all the peace and quiet while still being able to get to wherever you need to be quickly. Very good host. The gentleman that runs the place is rather nice and attentive. The wifi to my room was terrible. When I first complained about it, he did get a bit agitated about it. But he then went about setting up a WiFi extender close to my room. It was quite a challenge but he got it done! I really appreciated that. The general positive vibe of the place, the calm and quint surroundings, for me that was a perfect way to start my holidays.
