The rooms are simple and plain, but comfortable and clean. It was a good stay for two nights.

We had a quick stay but very nice. We were made to feel very welcome…! Owner was wonderful and his son (I think) was a godsend helping me with heavy luggage. Real close airport would stay again 100%

If I had been traveling for business, I would have liked better wifi in my room. My room also didn't have a phone--I don't know whether all the phones have been removed or not, so I can't say whether that was an issue. If I wanted to ask a question I had to leave the room and walk to the front desk. This was not a problem for me at all, but another person might not have appreciated it. And if I were a different person I might have wanted better TV reception--this was particularly iffy. But it was a trade-off. I was in a cottage with a glorious view of the beach and the gardens and with plenty of space and full amenities: full fridge, a complete stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. And the closest cottage to the beach. I came to swim and rest and lounge and read so I did not miss the wifi or the TV or the phone at all. The only thing that did disappoint me was that the pool was not usable during my stay. It was being cleaned and was not available for swimming. But that wasn't a great loss, as I simply swam in the sea.

The hotel is exactly what it says it is--a family-run island hotel. It is considerably different from the run of the mill offerings on New Providence, which are upscale resorts packed with amenities, restaurants, and activities. It is much more like a Family Island inn, like Stella Maris in Long Island and Peace and Plenty in Exuma. It has everything I needed for a short staycation: beautiful, well-kept gardens with a variety of nooks and crannies for sitting and thinking and reading, and a fabulous quiet beach. The restaurant is also very good. Not fancy inside, but the food is good, the service is friendly and warm, and you can eat every meal onsite if you want to. Coffee is complimentary for as long as it lasts and the honor bar is a GREAT touch. For those coming from abroad, it is also ten to fifteen minutes away from the airport along a road which is not regularly clogged with traffic, even at rush hour. It's also within walking distance of an upscale shopping centre and one of the local natural attractions, the Caves. But once you enter the premises, you are as removed from all of this as if you had flown to another island. Loved my stay.

Amazing views, beautiful grounds. A feel of old world charm as it is one of the oldest estates on the island. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We even received a beautiful flower arrangement from them for our anniversary!

Lovely family run place. They were so friendly and lots of little things that make your stay easier. Beach towels if you ask. Chairs for the beach if needed. Nice food.

The beautiful seating with ocean views was wonderful! We enjoyed sipping wine and watching the sunset. It was nice having breakfast and dinner available at the property. The prices were reasonable and we enjoyed the food. The room was huge with lots of space for luggage for 4 people and clean. we spent most of our time in the many common spaces and at the beach across the street. Our balcony had views of the ocean.

Room assigned was very worn and tired. AC was noisy and struggled. Bathroom was old but functional. Television was not functional at all and was not corrected when reported.

Location is excellent. Food was good. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Outdoor areas to sit, pool and grounds were nice.

I wouldn’t recommend this as a holiday destination, a one night stay over because of a flight missed was okay. Room was sparse, old, no bed cover other than light sheet (and evening was cool). For the price, it wasn’t good value.

We arrived late and received a quiet room and the service was all fine by the staff, dinner was available and good and they had the best rum cake ever! Plus an honor system bar. All great amentities.
