Simply the best

We stayed at 6 small hotels across Argentina and Brazil, we would recommend all them, Maris was the very best. Spacious room. Ample tasty breakfast. Knowledgable host with plenty of tips to get the most out of Pararty and lovely staff. Great pool and gardens.

Maris was the best hotel we stayed in Brasil. Lillian and her team made our stay in Paraty unforgettable. The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautifully presented rooms and the breakfast was really really good ! The hotel is beautiful and great location but still very quiet for sleeping at night. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond during our short stay!

I think they should offer cable tv. On the rainy nights we had no option other than 4 channels in local language which did work for my husband.

We loved the friendly service, the quiet location, the spacious room, great large king bed and nice shower.

Our room was next to the kitchen so there was a little bit of noise in the morning, but you could tell the staff were conscious of this to trying to be very quiet. The was also building work nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Maris Paraty! The rooms and garden are beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were amazing, they could not have been more helpful!

Our room was closed to the réception and kitchen area. So a bit more noisy in the morning. But that is not an issue as the place is really top.! And we have very well sleeped and the breakfast is so fresh.

Top location. Excellent breakfast. Very nice and well decorated rooms. Bed is top quality. Lilian is extremely helpful.. she gave us plenty of advises. She booked for us a restaurant and a tour. Many thanks Lilian for everything.!!!!we spent a great time.

Great vibe, stylish rooms with lovely outdoor area. Delicious breakfast Maris is only 10 mins walk from old city center. Nice residential area with beautiful flowers. The Mairs team is super sweet. Got great tips for restaurants and beaches though thier self designed mini guide, which was really helpful.

it’s a good 15min walk to the historic centre so to go there and come back couple times per day, can be tiring. Taxis are not that frequent in Paraty. The hotel is lovely, decoration and comfort. Breakfast is amazing, but to pay extra for an espresso from a super basic Nespresso machine, seems a bit too much taking in consideration the hotel daily rate. Suggestion: either offer or remove it, but to charge? It looked very greedy!

The hosts were so helpful and kind. The gardens and pool were great. The breakfast on our balcony was fantastic. Beautiful walk into town. We had a very early check-out and we were given a picnic for the road and a breakfast specially made for us to put in our fridge the night before. Thank you for looking after us so well.
