    All good.

This is a nice modern hotel in a busy part of La Paz. We were there as a family of 6 adults and used the hotel as a launching point for exploring the city and surrounding area. We booked three rooms, I highly recommend paying extra for the suite as I thought the other rooms were a little small. We loved the rooftop bar/restaurant and spent much time admiring the views and the food. The restaurant staff was very professional and friendly, putting up with my poor Spanish. Most of the staff spoke good English. I have to compliment the front desk staff, especially Marciello? and Kevin. They were outstanding helping us organize tours and with some tricky logistical issues. They truly went above and beyond with their help.

Comfortable hotel in a well-connected and safe part of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful with arranging taxis to the bus station. The room was clean. The bedsheets were warm which helped with the cooler temperatures at night. Hot shower with good water pressure!

Not so much a critique of the hotel but a suggestion to anyone staying there. Taking a taxi from the airport can be a nightmare of heavy traffic. Better to take a taxi to the Faro Murillo teleferico station and then down to Morado (Obelix) teleferico station. The hotel is a short walk down the hill from the station. You will save time, money, and hassle.

Very good value for money. Central but relatively quiet.

The hotel is located 1’ to plaza del Estudiantes, new and nice decorated. The beds are comfortable but very noisy from the street. At the top it is a terrace and a restaurant and a level down is very noisy in the rooms.

    The lift was slow.

The hotel and room was clean, modern, and spacious. I like that there was a balcony and the toilets were well designed with good water pressure. Soap dispensers were also provided at the sink which was truly appreciated. My only gripe is that the lift was slow. Regardless, a good hotel to stay in La Paz.

Mattress was a bit hard and uncomfortable. The windows are not soundproof and it gets very noisy on the street during the day, however, at night it was more quiet and possible to sleep well.

I got an upgrade to a super big room with two double beds and a sofa (didn't even know what to do with all the space). The shower has reliably hot water (might take a few minutes first to get warm though).

We stayed on the 6th floor and the restaurant was right on top of us so it was quite loud all the time, early morning and late night until restaurant was closed so not the most relaxing if wanting peace and quiet, maybe another floor is better for this. At the same time our room had an amazing view that you can’t even get at the Ritz which we stayed before. Restaurant and service much better than Ritz.

The location is great, close to el Prado and lots of restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is the best with an amazing view, great chef and staff. Alejandro at the front desk was very attentive and helpful!

No dislikes! But Early check in costing half the room price seemed a little steep as it was already ready and didn’t need to be cleaned - but not major issue, we needed extra sleep after a long night bus so happy to pay!

Amazing staff - initially arrived at 6am and could check in early (note - had to pay half the room fee) which was great. we also had to extend our stay as we were both ill and they sorted this out for us. Quick & good laundry service. Rooms itself were really nice and clean, comfy bed, felt safe. Bar/terrace was really nice with good views - didn’t eat here so unable to comment on food. Didn’t try breakfast as was ill. Location was okay - not in the middle of the action but able to walk 20 mins to most things or get cheap uber easily!

Mixed messages about laundry facilities - one receptionist said we couldn’t drop off the next day and then when we checked the next day they said of course they could do it. Also, the laundry service stitched all the pairs of our socks together and put a brown thread with a knot through every item of clothing - which was an absolute PAIN to remove!

Modern and comfortable with AWESOME water pressure compared to our other experiences in Bolivia. The staff were mostly friendly and accommodating and the hotel is very central.

They are starting to sell pizza, but it was very bad, I got sick I think some ingredients were not good and the pizza was very poorly prepared. They did not know how we could pay for it. At the end it was charged to the room. I would suggest also to start breakfast at 6 am because they offer really good tours and stuff to do starting at the same time breakfast starts: 7 am, so you don't have time to eat. Also would be nice if they had someone to take you to your room and explained how everything works, it was kind of hard for us to figure everything out.

Great hotel, super friendly staff. The last day they made us some breakfast to go because our flight was very early. Great gesture.

The things in the room were not all installed properly- not a big deal but an easy fix to make it seem cleaner

This is a solid 3 star hotel, convenient location to restaurants, the cable car, and other city attractions. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are bright, the hot water is plentiful, and the heat is good. Breakfast is continental.

Breakfast was a buffet but it didn't have many options and it wasn't enough for all the guests we were. They also did not replenish products that were already out of stock frequently enough.

The Madero hotel is the most modern hotel in the zone. The ubication is perfect to go around and do tourist, most of the tours go from the zone. The room was perfect to take a rest. The wifi was perfect.

Wouldn’t recommend eating or drinking at the restaurant upstairs

We enjoyed our stay at Madero. They were very accommodative of a number of requests we had, helped with organising tours, our laundry and various other items including airport transfers. The room was spacious and beds were comfy, so felt the value for money was great. Room was cleaned and beds remade each day. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Overall we were reallt happy with our stay here.
