No individual light in the beds and room can get quite hot if you close the windows and door at night. No fan in the room. Not a social hostel

A really nice property with lovely rooms and plenty of social space. The garden is lovely and great to relax or work in. My room overlooked the walkway past the office, but I wasn’t disturbed as people were respectful (and I sleep with ear plugs!). Staff very friendly, good laundry service, great breakfast.

On weekend nights there were some loud parties nearby. I think that’s just a part of Bolivia and it didn’t go too late. Still, if coming on a weekend, I’d bring earplugs.

During our two-week stay, our room was only cleaned twice. Once only because we repeatedly asked for it.

The location is close to the center and quiet. The rooms are very spacious. There is a cheap and good laundry service. The staff is very friendly and organizes a walking tour, which we can recommend.

The WiFi was a little temperamental and the bathroom looked a little under construction. And breakfast finishes at 9am, which was an effort to us!

The hostel is charming, with beautiful white stone walls and a big garden. The location is nicely away from the centre and on a calm street. The breakfast was lovely, bed was comfortable, and staff were delightful! A top find for Sucre.

The two things that would have made it even better would have been screens on the operable window to not allow mosquitos to enter. Also a ceiling fan might have been nice.

Everything was wonderful from the start at CasArte. The good feeling starts at the top with the very warm and friendly owner. It was comfortable and friendly, farly near the main plaza. The breakfast was very good and friendly too, in a courtyard of the property. There was quite an interesting international group of mostly younger travelers. Beds were comfortable!

Beautiful B&B with a good breakfast (eggs, bread/spreads, fruit, cereal, coffee/juice) and comfortable rooms. Good laundry service, 15BOB per kilo. About a 10-15 minute walk to the main square, and a large supermarket on the way.

Such a treat! The staff were super helpful and kind, and the room itself was wonderful. Clean, big, comfortable… had NETFLIX! And they even washed our clothes for cheap. Super grateful we found this place. Thank you 🙏🏼

The breakfast itself is basic but nice. But you have to wait for the lady to bring it to you, which takes around 30 min. It is OK when you’re not in a rush, but we had to leave to the airport on our last morning. We arrived at the breakfast as first at 7:30, but had to wait until 7:55 for our breakfast. There was no way to make it faster. It would be easier and faster if the bread is already on the table with the coffee/tea and only eggs and fruit can come later. There are also no bowls for the cereal.

The location is close to the main square, but it is a quiet street. The room and especially the bathroom is spacious and there is a nice garden.

It felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostal, since there was no common area other than the breakfast tables, which were outside.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hostel while traveling six month in South America. The ambiance is inviting, the warm water supply is consistent, and a bonus is the availability of a hairdryer at the reception. The staff is exceptional—friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a delightful highlight. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!
