The owner Jose is amazing. The location is amazing, I'm not sure it could have been better. The bed was comfy and warm. Good hot shower.

Breakfast wasn't great. The same items were layed out day after day, including cheese, which started to look questionable and the bread which was often stale.

Very comfortable and spacious room. WiFi was strong in our room. The hosts were very helpful throughout and let us check in early (we were charged for this, but that's fair enough).

The breakfast was very simple but it was still nice

Really big room with a great view. Hot shower and incredibly comfortable bed. We were so comfortable and relaxed that we extended. Short walk to the cable car. Supermarket, bars and restaurants close by The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The gentleman helped me get all our bags in the taxi on our last day as I was on my own.

Very nice traditional hotel format. Reception manned 24/7, room was very clean and big with nice classic furniture. Many surfaces available for personal items in the rooms. Location is ok, safe area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Simple but nice breakfast included in the price. Very good value for money.

Sometimes the shower had some trouble keeping the water warm. At no time was the shower temperature cold but it does fluctuate a little bit.

Sopagachi location is amazing with many cafes (cheaper and far better than centro), value for money, friendly staff, size of the room, having an option to buy water and other necessities for regular market prices. Will definitely return here

Breakfast could be better. It was boring eating the same bread every day. Even though the reception supposes to be 24h, the owner got upset because we asked to open the main door at 2 am as we needed to go to the airport to pick up friends. Same if we left the hotel early in the morning. WiFi connection was not great but this is quite common everywhere in the country.

The location is good, near restaurants and cafes and around 10 min walk to the Yellow Line cable car. The rooms are big and the hot water works.

Basic breakfast - tea/coffee, bread, yogurt and fruit. Shower in our room was cold. Safe and nice location but ~20 minute walk from centre.

The room I selected included air conditioning. None of the rooms have air conditioning. The manager did bring me a fan and said that is what they consider air conditioning. So take note!

Whenever I entered the hotel, I was feeling the building inside was emitting an unspecific non-organic smell (maybe the paint) that gave me a slight headache and nausea. Not hotel related: I experienced altitude sickness with all its symptoms and my oxygen level dropped to 75%. It seems you can't buy oxygen masks (oxigeno con nebulizador) anywhere. People send you to the street "Calle Boqueron" where some wholesale importers of oxygen are, but these are big gas cylinders and not meant for mobile use More expensive hotels have oxygen ready for you, just fyi.

The Hotel is located in a nice old residential area but close to the Teleférico stations and exclusive district San Jorge. My expectations of this hotel was met, it's a budget hotel and as such you get what you pay for. The staff is kind and helpful, communication in English not possible though. My room was spacious. Hot water with decent water pressure. In February it was cold in the room, extra blankets and a radiator was provided upon request. Internet/Wifi is available but not really fast. Breakfast is simple and is served from 7-10. It consists of bread, cheese, jam, banana, papaya, tea.

Cleaning service in between nights wasn't impressive.

Good neighborhood in la paz. Nice mattresses. Good hotel room. The owner runs a tight ship, everything in this hotel is well-organized.
