Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThis hotel was a more-than-welcome stay after roughing the tours in the south of Bolivia (and seeing the salt flats). The facility truly has all the amenities one could desire, and a reception that strives to please. The breakfast was varied, and the room was wonderful and quiet for working. The proximity to the center is also fantastic; you can walk to the mint or to any business and restaurant in the center with no issues, and spend as much time out as you want to on your own two feet.

ColombiaThere was a funky smell in the hallway of the 3rd floor. When we first used the sink and the shower, dirty brown water came out which means the room didn't receive guests for a long time. It was not a big deal because after a minute the water was running normal. However you don't want to see brown water running from where you'll be taking a shower. There is not enough staff yet working back in the hotel, so there was this one time that we spent around 15-20 minutes at the front gate in the street, waiting for someone to open it for us.
Very comfortable beds, pillows and blankets. After a 3 day tour in Uyuni, this was the perfect place to sleep well. Breakfast was great too and the staff was very friendly and caring. The room was huge! was not expecting it at all. The hotel is located in the city center next to many restaurantes, shops, pharmacies and the main attractions such as Casa de la moneda, plaza 10 de Noviembre, and many more.
