despite the deluxe king room listing a terrace as an amenity, I was told by the hotel that I had to indicate “that I needed a terrace” in order to secure a room with a terrace. Suggest booking a premium king or making sure the hotel knows you “need” a terrace.

The atmosphere in the breakfast hall was very unhealthy. I think it is caused by bad management by the manager. The breakfast offer is not generous and it looks as if the manager wants to save money on the guests. The employees don't smile. Probably because they are afraid that the manager will warn them that they added too many slices of ham or cheese. This is very bad marketing, which will cause guests to write negative comments and this beautiful hotel will have an increasingly worse reputation. Nowadays, success of hotel is achieved with the BREAKFAST OFFER and GUEST COMMENTS!!! - I recommend a trip to CDesing in Rio de Janeiro, where 12 waiters were sweating due to the workload of a completely full hotel. If you want to be X-Stars hotel and if someone pays 1,000 BOB for an overnight stay, the hotel must take into account that something from the breakfast will have to be thrown away, but for God's sake you cannot present 3 slices of yellow cheese cut twice in half under cover. It's tasty, but it looks very ungenerous, and stinginess will always lose!!! It's a pity because it's a very good hotel. If the hotel wants to reduce losses as much as possible, it offers a pandemic solution with a waiter. Breakfast guests receive, for example, three breakfast menu options. They mark what they want to eat and the kitchen prepares it to order. Then the products do not go to waste, and the hotel effectively reduces losses. I don't want to write you a negative opinion, but I want you to help you understand what you are doing wrong or you're doing it wrong on purpose, because despite everything, I consider my stay to be very successful. I really liked the hotel as a building. Very nice view from the window and a representatively located swimming pool (However, the windows next to the pool should be wiped from the outside). The breakfast was plentiful, with an omelet station and eggs cooked to order, but somewhat lacking in originality and local specialties.

The design and decor of the hotel are amazing, with original artworks throughout the common areas. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, attending to our every need. We enjoyed meals in the restaurant and drinks and appetizers on the top floor bar, with a spectacular view of La Paz. The bed was large and comfortable, and daily bottles of water were much appreciated.

The only negative thing was the constant buzzing opposite our bedroom door, presumably from an internal electrical box. We didn’t detect this until we turned our air conditioning off before getting into bed.

The internet didn’t work 100%, the social media weren’t accessible at all and the WhatsApp and other platforms didn’t work. But maybe a one time issue.

Amazing pool and bar. The room was exceptional and included bathtub in the bathroom. Delicious buffet style breakfast and helpful staff.

Very nice clean, spacious rooms with good shower and warm water. Nice selection for breakfast and restaurant in house very good. The pool is amazing and just what you want to have on days where everything else is closed (christmas). What made our stay was Stephanie who waited on us hand and foot always warm and calm even she was working day and night. Thank you Atix and Stephanie!

I feel it’s expensive for Bolivia which is a really cheap country. Bar at the top could be a little nicer if it was busier but otherwise no real reason to go as it lacks atmosphere
