Unfortunately the nearby bar was very noisy every night during our stay and we only found out later that it is closed during the week and only open over the weekend so worth bearing in mind if you want to catch up on your sleep from lots of sightseeing. Worth planning your trip just for weekdays if possible.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped and in a brilliant location, really close to the main city attractions and Nele the host was really helpful.

The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. Getting to the train was convient - even in the rain :)! We had a studio apartment therefore a huge room compared to what we have had in EU! It was great to have a place to eat, cook and relax.

Bed was uncomfortable and hurt my back sleeping there. Needs a new mattress. Rest of the bedding was comfortable though. Bathroom is really cramped and hard to work with. There is poor lighting in the bathroom too. Some road noise but not a very busy street while I stayed there.

Nice apartment in a good location. Good amenities with cook top, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. Good control over the apartment temperature. Located on the first floor but up one flight of steep stairs and no lift.

We were on lower level do we had a lot of noise from other guests/residents as they entered and departed the building, often buzzing & banging doors very early and very late. The floors are all tiles so it is noisy & it travels.

It would be useful to let guests know that the property can be reached much more easily from Ghent Dampoort station instead of Ghent Sint Peters

Check in process was very smooth. The host was lovely to interact with. The location of the property was superb- in a quiet street very close to the main city attractions.

It was a lovely studio with bathroom and kitchen. We were on first floor and so the room was nice and bright with big windows. Quite a steep stone staircase from ground floor. But manageable. All very clean and comfortable especially the bedding. Very near centre of town. A bit further from train station Gent Sint Pieters. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk round the corner which is convenient to get the number 55 bus to station. About half hour journey. Nele, the owner, is very nice and helpful and easy to contact. I would recommend this for a visit to Gent.

Not a huge negative, but more of a suggestion. The property can get very warm inside, which can be easily sorted by providing a small table fan. I suppose this would be more of an issue in the summer months. You can leave the window open, but even with the windows closed, could still hear people talking on the street as they were walking by.

Excellent location and very friendly and responsive host. Everything is from within short walking distance of the property and the host is happy to answer any questions. The property was very spacious and very clean. Had a little issue with internet on the first day but was sorted quickly by restarting the router.

The location is perfect, and the apartment itself is really nice, comfortable and clean. The possibility of private parking for a fee (that is cheaper than the nearest parking garage fee) was a big plus, and the parking was located really close.

Overall this apartment offered good value for money. Location is excellent, very close to the city centre and walking distance to the Dampoort train station.

Great location, a couple of minutes away from the main square, but very quiet. There were a lot of restaurants nearby. The bed sheets were very high quality, very comfortable bed.

no lift - we had 2 very large suitcases and it was challenging to get to the 3rd floor. Suggest also a tub mat as it was slippery

The property stated it was a penthouse - I didn't actually expect a real penthouse!! Host was very accommodating, property was great!
