Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomIf I was being pedantic which I’m not there’s not a great food choice on the daily snacks / light meal bar menu but it’s not a huge issue & there are plenty of eateries nearby.
Excellent location, nice sized rooms that were cleaned daily & fresh towels supplied if requested. Pool or beach towels & free tickets for sun-beds on the nearby beach were also offered free of charge Very helpful friendly staff, nice outdoor bar & dining area & a very relaxed breakfast & decent choice. We had an issue with the air conditioning in one of the rooms, it took a while for it to be attended to & wasn’t repairable within the time we were there but another room nearby was offered & were given some free drinks at the bar & allowed free late check out as way of compensation which was a very nice touch. I requested a bottle of wine & the room to be decorated when we arrived as it was my wife’s birthday & wanted to surprise her & this was done very very nicely with balloons & a delicious birthday cake beautifully decorated. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but this is up there with the best in terms of being looked after by the staff, simply lovely people!

Nigeriaadditional charges not captured by booking.com , had to pay §10 per day for my 13 day stay. facilities such as the bar and restaurant closed pretty early. asking tourist to contribute to charity directly is a let down...keep a box and don't make customers feel pressured.
members of staff are amazing and extremely helpful regardless of the hour of day. the reception is up all day for any enquiries or assistance. Terina at the front desk was absolutely amazing with advice on how to make the most of your time on the island.

United Kingdomonly getting two sun loungers for the beach despite having 3 people. Umbrella’s not included and had to pay $5/$10 !!! paying for sausages and bacon was a shame as just went without for our stay but assume it’s pricey to ship in.
Good kitchen facilities, good aircon, nice size balcony and facing the sea ! breakfast was quite which was nice. omelettes and poached eggs we’re fantastic! nice variety of breakfast but you pay extra for sausages and bacon. supermarkets, souvenir shops and food places literally next door! bus stop almost outside the hotel. staff were lovely, helpful and did a boardwalk, giving information! nice pool. get two sun loungers at the beach but not umbrella and still only two even with three of us in a room!

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Our stay went smoothly from start to finish. Our room size was perfect - spacious and clean. The pool area was clean and there was plenty of beds. I loved the location, so close to the beach and bars and restaurants and you could get a bus right outside.

CanadaBathroom lighting should have a light fixture on both sides of the mirror, (one side was in heavy shadow) The shower gel, shampoo and lotion are too highly scented. The kitchen area was poorly illuminated - the counter top area should be fitted with under-cabinet lighting.

Trinidad and TobagoThe bed was super uncomfortable (especially when staying for such long periods) and I would have liked a cleaner bathroom. The room was cleaned well but I feel like more attention needed to be paid to the bathroom and toilet.
The location was excellent-close to restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was good also and I like that it was included in the stay. The staff (especially Janice, Javan and Troy) were super friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe breakfast experience was not good. During the COVID crisis staff should ideally not be handling food without wearing gloves. For example, we asked for toast and, because we were not allowed to make it ourselves, the server handled the bread without wearing gloves, made the toast and then brought it to us. Pastries were advertised but were not available on either day we were there!
The living accommodation was very spacious and extremely clean.
