It appears that it has been a very long time since there was any investment in the apartment, from furnishings to maintenance. Many of the power outlets don't actually work. You have the ocean breeze coming right onto the block, and the salty water definitely takes its toll on the building and it's overdue some TLC.

The apartment is right on the beach, we watched all the sunrises from our bed which was amazing. It's a really remote location so it's quite peaceful. There's also parking on site. You can walk right up to kite beach and Oistins is a short drive away (traffic during rush hour can be pretty bad though).

On the whole I just felt the property was a little 'tired'. On reflection, I can see that a lot of it was due to the salt in the air, causing things to become rusty, and I'm guessing that things need replacing more quickly when you live near the sea, which I imagine becomes expensive. Main points that were noted, not disappointing, just slightly underwhelming... we didn't have the hammock that was shown on the photos, the laundry airer was broken so we couldn't easily hang our beach towels, we couldn't get any TV channels to watch and in any case there wasn't really anywhere to sit comfortably and watch it due to the 2 beds that were in the lounge, some of the surfaces and the floor felt a bit grimy but again, I think this was more the salt in the air rather than it not being clean. The salt has also caused a fair bit of rust, which I accept, but some of it was inside the fridge which wasn't overly pleasant for storing food.

It was easy to find and to park our hire car outside. The communication with the property manager was great and we had everything we needed, linen, cleaning materials, functional appliances. The towels and bedding was changed mid-way through the stay which was a nice bonus and it was lovely to have a balcony. It was a really quiet area and we felt safe both in and around the apartment. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning in the bedroom.

The balcony and rooftop had beautiful views of the ocean. The living room (with two beds) opened straight to the balcony with two large doors - when opening both its like the balcony is part of the living room. Silver Sands is a quiet village away from the busy tourism - this is the real Barbados! There are minivan taxis going nonstop to Oistins (great fish market) and Bridgetown and costs minimal. The beach 250m from the apartment is heaven - only a few lite surfers. Beach is clean and you will have it pretty much to yourself. If you want to get away from the stress and just chill in a lovely peaceful place (like I did), then Ocean Bliss is the perfect place

There was a socket on the main central kitchen island that was broken. It meant i had to plug kitchen appliances into other sockets away from the kitchen area. I was also unable to work the hot water. There was also no instructions on how to operate the safe. The Ocean view was nice but it is not totally unobstructed due to 2 large properties in front of the apartments. The advertising doesnt tell you this and suggests complete Ocean Bliss!

The Location was great. It's a very quiet area. It has a view of the ocean as you sit on the terrace having your morning coffee. It has all kitchen appliances necessary for a short or long term stay. The host Rhema is very efficient and friendly.

Loud pump system between the two apartment buildings. could be disturbing to some. For the ground floor apartments, for safety, there is a railing which might get you think you are in prison :) Though you feel really safe everywhere.

Great price/value, excellent location for kitesurfers. silver rock is couple of minutes walk, very convenient. The apartmant was very clean, and spacious, will go back here! Amazing vibe and great local people.

It was a bit out of the way, far from amenities, beaches and entertainment. This is perfect for Persons into surfing as the nearby beach is a surfer’s paradise, not for the average sea bather given the rough seas. If it weren’t for my rental and google maps things would have been more difficult

The proximity to the ocean, to be able to enjoy the sea breeze and hear the waves at night was relaxing. The staff were super nice and the apartment clean though a bit dated.

The stairs up to the apartment was a challenge with the luggage. No one on site on the day of arrival to welcome me in. I arrived on Sunday.

The apartment is spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the Atlantic sea. Having to quarantine for a few days I didn't feel pened in.The roof deck provided space for me to walk around and stretch my legs. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped for use. A small welcome pack of tea n coffee would have been a nice touch The two ladies managing the facility, Carla and Lisa were very helpful.

The apartment could have been a little cleaner on arrival (my reason for the 9/10), but when housekeeping came in during our stay, they did an excellent job. This is my only negative feedback. The only other thing I would mention is that there are very few places within walking distance to eat, which did not bother us, but is something to be aware of if you are thinking of booking this.

Peaceful setting, feeling as though we were experiencing the real Barbados, away from the main tourist areas, the sound of the waves, turtle spotting and star gazing from the roof top, the well equipped apartments, the friendly and helpful hosts (Carla and Lisa), value for money.

I would strongly advise renting a car if you drive if you want to stay there but there are very accessible taxi services and a nearby bus stop. The nearest convenience stores and cashpoint/ATM are 10 min drive away

The apartment was surprisingly way bigger than expected, 10 min drive from the airport and 12 minutes drive from the nearest town centre (Oistins). I do not drive but managed easily to get into town as it is not too far. The property was fully furnished and very well put together. Flat 7 is definitely a "Home away from Home". Lisa, the property manager, was an absolute gem: Always ever so friendly and always happy to assist throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I was having an enjoyable and memorable experience until my last day. Furthermore, she recommended activities, places to visit and gave me general directions and advice. She also helped me with the booking of my PCR tests and the general maintenance of my flat during my stay.
