The sunbeds were a bit old and could do with cushions. The kitchen was a bit old could do with up dating. Would have preferred a electric kettle.

Very accessible and comfortable. Lots of space and storage cupboards. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the garden. Lovely shower.

We stayed when a rugby team was there for a week they were loud until all hours, coupled with the live music from across the street on Fri/Sat/Sun nights it’s definitely not restful on those evenings. Equally the AC unit is loud outside the louvered glass windows so if you are noise sensitive this may not be the place for you. The water pressure was not great on the second floor

Pool is clean and usually quiet, rooms were cleaned every day- Debbie is a treasure! Book library to loan from, lots of great restaurants in the area and Dover beach is gorgeous and very affordable 15 BDS/chair

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Clean room, towels and bedding daily. Regina and the team were a delight. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be booking to stay again.

The rooms were not as clean as they could be; there was an ironing board but you had to ask for an iron. The rooms need a bit of TLC, but for a budget hotel it was fine.

While the receptionist was extremely efficient and friendly and the cleaner(s) and gardener too made time to say hello, the staff in the bar/food area couldn’t quite raise a smile. Pity.

Very spacious room, windows fitted with mosquito nets (so through-draft which meant we didn’t need to use the air-conditioning and it was well-equipped.

Nothing. We booked this property on a budget to make a trip to Barbados affordable. Not after luxury or all inclusive as we like eating out and exploring spending as little time as possible in apartment. Monterey exceeded our expectations.

Staff at property are lovely, super friendly and helpful providing lots of info on the island - how to get about, transport etc. Felt safe and relaxed. Apartment is well equipped with kitchen appliances (cooker, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge freezer) iron, iron board, hair dryer. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Excellent location located at the bottom of St Lawerence gap. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, beach and bus stop.

Just thought the furnishing were a little tired, curtains and some furniture but it was extremely clean and very comfortable. Would definitely book it again. The staff were also so kind friendly and very helpful.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable , well equipped apartment. Within walking distance of many lovely bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and lovely beaches.
