Both times we went to use the pool there were no towels available. It was toward closing time of the pool, but both times? I would say the breakfast could definitely find room for improvement. The restaurant ran out of coffee, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for more to be made. Also the selection was very minimal - toast with o condiments (no jam or peanut butter). There was a small selection of fresh fruit, and that was about it.

The room was nice and the facilities and location of the hotel to the beach were great. The staff ere without exception friendly and very accommodating.

The doors required a key to lock the toor and everytime you have make sure it’s locked . When eating outside it’s sooo hot !

Rooms are not sound proof. If someone opens a door, you can hear it. There is also nobody to help with the luggage and no elevator.

The bedroom was outdated, it was not worthy the price and the complementary breakfast was bad.

Poor service in the restaurant, slow and not very responsive. Boring breakfast (could they not at least vary the flavour of the Jam, bread, fruit?!?)

We tried to eat at the restaurant on an evening as it looked really lovely but unfortunately most of the options on the menu were unavailable. Our apartment was a ground floor apartment without a view and it would have been nice to be higher up with views of the sea.

The location is excellent, right in front of Rockley beach and next to the bus stop. 10/15 minutes to Bridgetown and 15 minutes to Oistins. Lots of other beautiful beaches (Carlisle Bay, Paynes Bay, Miami Beach) just a short bus ride away too. The rooms at Blue Horizon are a decent size with good amenities. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is simple but we knew this beforehand from the reviews. We really enjoyed the cereal, toast and selection of fruits. The breakfast area is a really nice relaxing space next to the pool. The room was cleaned thoroughly everyday. It was a great room for our family of 4 with two young children. We would definitely recommend.

We only used the pool twice and late in the day, but both times no pool towels were available. We were also presented with someone else’s dinner bill upon checkout (although the receptionist quickly resolved this).

Nice location, the rooms were clean. The pool is nice. The bar was quaint.

Advertised breakfast before I booked and informed me AFTER I booked by email that breakfast was in fact continental breakfast. Also, room advertised safe in room and there was none.

Sometimes running out of pool towels and other stuff. The Dutchie restaurant staff would need a better training in hospitality business and drinks especially.

Breakfast was limited and frequently didn’t have items listed on the breakfast menu. We are at the restaurant one evening and on receiving the mains we’re told that certain items such as the meat in the curry that was ordered weren’t available and thus had been replaced with something else. This happened on arrival of the food at the table so we didn’t have the opportunity to change our choice before food was served. Staff also didn’t seem to know what was available on the menu or what certain items were when asked.

No water, coffee or anything in the room after 12 hours of travelling seemed a little harsh. Nearest supermarket is a fair walk. No safe in room and door only had one working key lock that didn’t feel very secure.

A couple of the staff on reception and in the restaurant were very nice indeed, as were the cleaners. Restaurant was decent for lunch. Location to the beach is great!

The fact that there was no available elevator for us to get to and from to the 3rd floor, and we had several luggage to carry, that was our only headache.

fruit for continental breakfast was not often replenished while I was having breakfast; on about days i was there, beach towels were unavailable because they were still being laundered; housekeeping inconsistent eg. one day, we didn’t get all of our towels, another day, blankets weren’t folded properly; low water pressure showers; uncomfortable pillows.
