Restaurant is kinda expensive and poor menu. Squeezed orange juice was also poor, it was 90% water. Room was small, but for budget it was ok.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Woman cooking is so nice, she prepared breakfasts for all of us when there was something missing.

Best place to spend your summer holiday in Neum. Our third visit at Villa Barbara, that says all. Great location and private beach. Awesome owners and hospitality. We will come back again as we did in the past :)

The WiFi was a bit weak.

The views from the balcony. The closeness to swim 🏊‍♂️ at a private beach with free sunbeds. Close to the crowd and noise at the beach walk, but in a silent and peaceful place. The breakfast was also great!

Nothing at all. All our holiday stay in hotel Villa Barbara was great.

Everything. Best place to stay in Neum. Great food and pleasant staff. Sea and private beach with free beach chairs is 10m away from hotel room. Shade is great for kids to stay all day and enjoy cristal clean sea. Free parking is plus. View from room terace is amazing. You can see across sea chanel island of Peljesac on Croatian side. Will come back for sure.

These below mentioned items were not negative for us, but could be a heads up for other travellers as we are all different: General: Don’t be surprised that smoking is still very common, even in the restaurants any any other public places. Keep in mind that Bosnia is still a cash economy, it is suggested to ask in prior if you can pay by card. Larger shops and the petrol stations are usually accepting card payments. Euro is accepted in most tourist destinations. Parking: during the summer the town is full, and there is a general shortage of parking lots. The hotel has a dedicated parking area, however it worth to give a prior note to the hotel that you would need a parking place to be secured. Stairs: You might be aware that the Adriatic coastine has the nature of being hilly. It means that if you would like to go down to the beach or back to your hotel room, you might need to take stairs. It is valid for the majority of Croatia as well as the Bosnian Neum, and for this hotel so there shall be no place to complain… Don’t complain about things which are obvious from the pictures, geography and descriptions.

The hotel is situated on the seaside and offers a private beach to the guests. Sunbeds dedicated to room numbers ensures that you will have a place to lie down when you get off the sea. Restaurant’s deck (also on the seaside) provides a shade in the hottest hours of the day. Within a convenient distance to the centre that offers restaurants, streetfood, street market and other services. Payment by card is possible even the booking confirmation stated that only cash payment is possible. Worth it ask it upon booking the accomodation. Room: we booked a room with 4 beds for 2 adults and 2 children and got a 2 room apartment on the 3rd floor with a large balcony. We had a lovely view on the sea and the town! The room was well equipped with air conditioner, hairdryer, electric kettle, fridge etc. Breakfast: you can make your choice out of hommade pizza, ham, salami, cheese, fried eggs, sausages. 3 kind of cornflakes is also offered, along with marmalade, honey, pencakes, fruit and vegetables. Beverages on the table are tea, coffee and 2 kind of juices. Neum: the single seaside town of Bosnia-Herzegovina has a long pomerade with beaches, markets, restaurants, bars, ice cream and streetfood kiosks along the coastline. You can go to a boat cruise, a semi-submarine cruise and even a jetski ride! In the centre parties are likely each night. If you are visiting from the former eastern block and remember the 90s, this place will most likely bring back some memories from that era, with a modern cover page. Countryside: Visited Mostar, the Neretva valley and the Kravica waterfall in a one day trip, and it was wonderful. People are kind and helpful. Roads that has been refurbished or constructed in the last 10 years are great. On others you need to drive with caution as the countly is really mountenous. Watch out for the motorcyclists, because only the foreigners wearing helmet. :)

Even though it says hotel, our rooms were not cleaned except one day / one room on our request. Only towels were changed. Wifi didn’t work well at all. It was not a big issue for us.

Nice, clean rooms, wonderful view, nice beach. Beach chairs included. Reacting quickly on our demands. Air condition worked well even though we have not used it much as weather was just perfect, not too hot. It is near to everything and still very quiet so we slept well. Beds and pillows ok, resto as well.

9 out of 10 because the breakfast was quite poor for vegetarians. Would have hoped to have some youghurt, fresh fruit, more baked goods etc. Otherwise excellent experience.

The hotel owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, e.g. arranged a ride for us from our previous location to the hotel. The room was clean, the views excellent and we really enjoyed the private beach.

Marvelous and clean accomodation. Properly sized room with modern furnitures and super comfortable beds. The view from the balcony to the sea was breathtaking. The villa have its own beach with its own sunbeds, they provided 2 sunbeds for each rooms. Despite of the place was so busy, our car always had a parking spot with the help of our host. We had the greatest experince here at the Villa, we met such a great people, the stuff was super kind and helpful-they did the best service ever. The lady at the breatfast was super nice, she fulfielled all our wishes. I am sure we will be back and recommend it to people.
