The spa is not up to the level advertised. The pool water too cool, sauna mostly turned off, then you have to look for staff to turn it on, then wait half an hour.

The only concern about the room location is that the bar terrace was right under our balcony, people were having fun there which is not something unusual, but it was quite unpleasant that we could not open the balcony doors even after midnight because of the loud speaking, laughing and smoking. This is really not to blame the hotel, next time we will ask for a room which is not right above the bar. Other than this, everything was perfect.

I was booking our stay at Hotel Marea based on the positive reviews, and I can tell you I really didn't regret it. The hotel itself is modern, the rooms are well sized. We received a fruit plate and 2 bottles of mineral water upon arrival, which came quite handy after a 10 hrs drive. Our room was on the 5th floor with a beautiful view to the bay. Our room was cleaned every single day, the cleaning ladies did a perfect job. Breakfasts were always nice. We booked bed and breakfast, but after trying the half board dinner on the first day we had dinner in the hotel almost every evening. Feel free to try it, you won't regret. The fitness room is well equipped, if you are a lifter you will find everything there for a decent training. The spa is also nice, although the steam bath was out of order during our stay, we had a great time there trying the sauna, the tropical shower (warning, amazing sound effects!), and the pools (indoor+outdoor). I also tried a massage and a body treatment, the service was flawless and professional. The staff was always helpful and ready to support whatever the question would be. We had some issues with the A/C, but it was solved very fast. I can't highlight anybody, while the reception staff, the cleaning ladies and the restaurant staff were all very nice and polite. Getting to the beach takes 190 steps down the hill, but it is worth the effort. You should only consider this while drinking those bears at one of the beach bars, so that you should climb back to your hotel.

The quality of coffe and juice for breakfast is not good. Although breakfast it self is fresh and various. According to the pictures in the description, it seems that the hotel has a beach, but unfortunately this is not the case. The road to the beach is steep and you should go over the steps.

The hotel is very new and modern, with amazing view from the room. It is a lot of space in the room, beds are comfortable, big balcony and bathroom. The personal is friendly and helpful. Cool spa zone with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi is available Till 9 p.m. the parking in garage and outside is very good.

The water in the pool was way too cold, it was not enjoyable at all, and barely could go inside.

Best Hotel in Neum in my opinion. Extremly clean, comfortable, great location, excellent facilities. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A specials thanks to Mr. Tomislav who went on his own bike to pick up medicine for my wife and refused to take money! The Food was excellent and a great selection. The Terrace bar is amazing. Parking is huge and safe. Highly recommended and I will always look to go back there.

It could be more modern and breakfast could be better. For example to have some vegan options.

The price and stuff are cool. You have swimming pool, sauna, breakfast...very nice for this kind of hotel.

We had a great time at Marea Hotel. We didn't miss anything. The breakfasts were tasty. The view from the hotel over the bay is perfect. Parking on site. Clean and staff very nice and helpful. I hope we will go back there again.
