Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaSometimes the wifi in my floor are unstable.
Location is superb, walking distance to old city and Baku main attraction. Actually the hotel name is Zam Zam Hotel instead of Jupiter. The staffs are very helpful and kind with very very good English. The noor restaurant in 7th fl has a very fantastic view of Baku eye and Caspian see. Also We can find a lot of mininstores and restaurants around the hotel. Really recommend this place when you go to Baku.

Saudi ArabiaUnfortunately on our last night, one of the reciption staff tried to deceive us when I asked him if we could order food from his phone because our cells weren’t working, I ordered two meals for the total of 34 AZN, when the order came it was just one meal without any drinks and when I asked him he started giving different stories such as: “the order came with two different drivers, you only ordered one meal” and when I pressed on him he said that it was an error in the application and gave me the rest of the change for the meal that didn’t arrive + when we checked out the reciptionist took my phone and tried to rate the hotel himself
Clean and tidy, near every trip necessity: Pharmacy, market

RussiaThere was no WiFi on my floor. I managed to connect to the other floor network in the early morning for very short time so it seems just my bad luck with the particular floor.
The staff is just amazing, very helpful and welcoming. Room was generally ok, water pressure was fine and bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor in the nice restaurant with sea view.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel name is Zam Zam Hotel, but on booking.com they register as a Jupiter hotel (you didn't find them on Google with Jupiter name ) It's a close pharmacy where you can go to the Zam Zam hotel and show your booking.com receipt and that's it
Perfect room with the best view of the sea and Delicious Breakfast (free of cost) and make special arrangements for Sehri for those who keep fasting in Ramadan, Special Thanks to Ali Staff member and their Manger both are amazing guys, Furthermore, Don't forget to take the Three Pin to two Pin electric converters ( Azerbaijan has two pin electric switches to charge your electric devices ) and install the Bolt app to use a taxi with the city, At airport bolt taxi driver try to scam you but don't pay them extra from bolt fare ( max 10 manat), Keep change with us like 10 manat and 5 manat currency notes because it's really hard to find 100 manat change on local shops except supermarket.

United Arab EmiratesAs a traveler accustomed to the comforts of a four-star accommodation, my recent stay at Zam Zam Hotel (formerly known as Jupiter) left much to be desired. Despite its purported rating, the overall experience felt closer to a two or three-star establishment. One of the immediate letdowns was the absence of standard amenities expected in a hotel of this caliber. The lack of complimentary coffee, tea, bathrobe, toothbrush, and toothpaste was surprising and inconvenient. Even more disappointing were the rough, sandpaper-like towels and facial tissues, along with flimsy plastic clothes hangers that hardly seemed fitting for a hotel setting. The neglect extended to basic maintenance issues. The non-functional wall clock, coupled with stained carpets and walls adorned with graffiti, painted a picture of neglect. Additionally, the hotel's identity crisis—advertised as Jupiter but labeled as Zam Zam—added confusion, especially since it was challenging to locate on Google Maps. Furthermore, the location, situated 2.5 kilometers away from Nizami Street, proved inconvenient for exploring the area. The poor internet connectivity compounded the issue, with virtually no signal available throughout the premises. Despite these setbacks, the hotel did have a few redeeming qualities. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast offered was satisfactory, albeit basic. Additionally, the affordability of the accommodation could be considered a saving grace for budget-conscious travelers. However, the lack of a welcoming reception upon arrival was a notable disappointment, setting the tone for an underwhelming experience overall. In conclusion, while Zam Zam Hotel may offer budget-friendly rates, the subpar amenities, maintenance issues, and inconvenient location detract significantly from its appeal. For those seeking a truly four-star experience, it's advisable to look elsewhere.
