A very convenient hotel in the center of the city, on the main square. The location is just perfect. Our King Suite Family room was really beautiful, large and comfortable. There were 4 excellent and re-configurable beds. All very clean. There's also a WiFi. The breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We can happily recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

Wonderful location in the city and within walking distance to all attractions. Easy check-in with clear instructions to the Hotel. Free parking within compound. Morning breakfast was sumptuous and delightful. Courtyard with its wonderful garden is an added attraction for all visitors.

The breakfast was good but the food wasn't heated so e.g. the eggs were cold. No coffee machine, only instant coffee.

Clean and very comfy room, friendly staff. The hotel is close to the center but it's very quiet so be sure you'll get a good sleep there.

Everything was great.

The hotel is newly refurbished, the rooms are in the courtyard. Quiet and very good sized room with bed bigger than average. Good selection for breakfast. Perfect location, overlooking Ganja townhall. The receptionist, her name is Turkan was very nice and helpfull. I arrived early for the check in and she organised my room to be cleaned with priority so I can get into my room early.

We had a great stay at the Old City Ganja. The staff were all nice and very helpful although it also helped our friend spoke Russian. The beds were very comfortable and the room all new and very clean. We were able to park our car behind the hotel which was very useful. The hotel is located in the centre of the town so we were able to walk to many of the sights we wanted to visit. Everyone was very welcoming.

Wifi could have been better. Wet room very small, and I’m not a great fan of wet rooms in general.

Great central location. Staff helpful, though spoken English limited. Fortunately, I speak Russian. Very clean comfortable room and public areas. Free parking available for our hire car.

One issue that I was concerned with, also reported to the reception after checking out, was that heating system in the bathroom was dripping/ leaking water. Note also that there is a construction or renovation going on at the hotel, some rooms may be too noisy than others.

I enjoyed my 4-night stay at Old City Ganja. Situated right in the middle of the city, where everything is nearby, I was able to discover Ganja easily. Bed was very comfortable, you’ve got a small fridge in the room too. Staff were also very friendly, engaging. Breakfast was served with various healthy, delicious choices such as jam, honey, or scrambled eggs with tomatoes based on your preference. (They will additionally ask you if you want to had them prepared for you during breakfast). I think it was great value for money.

All staff members were really friendly, the room was nice and very clean. Location is great. Breakfast was delicious and they even arranged an earlier time than usual since we had to leave early on the last day. Highly recommend!

Rooms are like labyrinth, you should go through garage, and then through several parts of hotel. Toilet and shower are very small. If you decide to take a shower it will be not comfortable to move, there is a risk that you can touch a toilet. Furniture is a little bit old. Wifi was disaster :(

Staff were perfect, very helpful and very smiley. Location is in the center of the city. Breakfast was good, wide range of choice. Room was big and clean. Overall hotel is good for this price, which was lower comparing with other hotels in the center.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist Turkan and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

City hotel standard and hospitality

Old city hotel staff hospitality was greatest and reception staff was very friendly. Ganja is most beautiful city in Azerbaijan.

The property is possibly in the best possible location in Ganja. Just opposite the City Park and Hyder Aliyev memorial. Most of the sights are within a kilometer of walk from this location, except perhaps the Hyder Aliyev Park and the puppet theatre (1.4km). The city's main shopping drag, the Cavad Xan (Javad Khan) Kocesi is just a short walk, and so is the Ganja Mall. Breakfast was super, healthy and balanced and staff were welcoming!

Did not apply to us, but the property would not easily accommodate persons who cannot climb stairs.

For the price, is should earn more than 10. Staff asked what they could do for us each time we walked by. Beds were the most comfortable we found in AZ so far. Rooms were very quiet being removed from the main street and facing a private courtyard, with thick curtains. Breakfast was to local standards. Everything was clean and well maintained

Minor quibble. The breakfast isn't amazing, and the staff insist on pouring coffee and toasting bread. But these are small issues.

Centrally-located, and only about €2 taxi ride from the station. Everything about this hotel is fine/good/nice etc. The staff are helpful and friendly; the rooms were a good size. The showers were strong and hot. Quiet hotel, inside the room and outside. Zero complaints.
