Hostel sign is not so clear but you will find the way to it pretty easy.

Central location close to main attractions, restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Assim the owner would WhatsApp you locations to all of that. He would do his best to help you with info, give recommendations, arrange for taxis, and register you for migration office if needed. Be careful you will instantly fall in love with his little toddler Timor and it would be hard to leave. The hostel is cozy and clean.

The bathroom gets very wet because there is no strict delimitation for the shower.

The location is great, the owner is very kind and helpful. The price is more than correct for the facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.

The place needs to be indicated outside.

The original place Canal Hostel looks very neglected, no sign outside indicating the place. However our host drove us to another house in the old area which is very cozy.

All areas had heat system but not the kitchen, what was very cold... But it was winter.

I would like to strongly recommend this hotel. The hotel owner is very nice. He is very friendly and helpful. He will tell you all information you need such as bus schedule 、route、supermarket and so on. He is very clean and always keep hotel clean. We used the kitchen and made delicious food. We laugh,we eat , we happy with everyone whose lives in hotel. A very happy unforgettable Christmas

The staff and the location! The hostel is very centrally located and has everything in its proximity. Aseem was a great chap who owns and takes care of the property and has guided me well as to what, how and when to do in Sheki. He is a very good person. A lot of renovation and extension work is going on below and I am sure this hostel will be a very good property in the days to come. Wishing Aseem good luck! I shall be back again!

The hostel owner Asim was very nice and helpful, I checked in late in the evening so he came out to show me the way to hostel and he gave me a list of places where to go, the kitchen has free coffee tea and other cooking stuff for guests, the room was clean and the place is quite and near to must see places, also everything is near by, I really enjoyed my short stay in this hostel and I definitely recommend it, Thank you Asim for your great hospitality

Entrance may be difficult to find as there is no signage. The location on the Map.me is also slightly incorrect. But you can contact the owner as Ashim 4G wifi is available nearby.

Asim is a great and friendly guy and his hostel is a gem. In fact this was the only hostel during my 10-day trip in Azerbaijan where I experienced a real backpacker hostel vibe. I stayed in a 3-person room, everybody had enough space, the bed was comfy and I slept really well both nights. There is a big kitchen which I used to make my own food, with enough stuff to cook with and a fridge for your stuff. The hostel has a nice courtyard with some artistic designs and is located in a quiet back alley in the scenic Old Town, it is a short walk to all the sights and just very atmospheric to wander around these streets. This is definitely the best choice for independent budget travellers in Sheki.

Azeri hospitality at its very best, warm, cosy and welcoming, I could have easily stayed for weeks just soaking up the magical atmosphere of Sheki and the kindness of its people. Lovely guest house, so clean, quiet, relaxed and right in the heart of historical Sheki. I really felt like home, a big Teşekkürler to Asim, the owner 🙏
