Was a little ways out from the snorkeling beaches & town area. This required a car to go anywhere. However, it was likely much quieter than staying in town.

Condo was spacious & equipped so that you can cook food if you want. Great deck with furniture to utilize. Great little private (for guests only) deck with chairs, kayak, on the water looking at the Bay & Marina. Lots of parking. Great place to eat at the Marina called The Fish House. The owner was amazingly fast at responding to any question I had by text.

We had a lovely time at the Vistalmar villa during our dive trip to Aruba. We loved the convenience of the hotel being just a minute drive from the dive shop. After our morning dives, it was nice to relax in the comforts of the villa before heading out to explore the country. Angelique takes good care of the villa, keeping it stocked with small snacks and good coffee, and she provided us with helpful instructions and recommendations for places to go. She was kind enough to let us know about the Torch parade, which was a nice treat to be able to see. We liked the tranquility of being outside of the center and enjoyed relaxing on the private pier right along the water and watching the sunset. There's even a nice restaurant just a short walk down the road. We wanted to see the sights so we rented a car, and the villa was a great home base for easily reaching everything we wanted to see.

There is some noise from airport during the afternoons when most of the flights are in and out. On the whole the noise does not impact your stay especially if you prefer to be out and about. There are no flights at night and therefore zero sleep disruption.

Lovely condo with everything that you might need for a fabulous relaxing break away from the madness of the busy tourist areas of Orangestaad and Eagle/Palm Beach. Great service, cleanliness and facilities extremely good. Very good instructions and information from owner. Lovely relaxing deck area which we often had to ourselves as other residents didn't seem to use it.

Wi-Fi was weak inside our apartment. Otherwise we have no complaints.

While the location is about 15 minutes from central town, the residential neighborhood makes it nice and quiet. That’s a plus if you want some peace from traffic and parties. The down side is you will need a car. The local store is very basic food-wise so plan on eating out and just doing breakfast at home. The gem is the host, Angelique. She is extraordinarily helpful and responsive, and clearly enjoys her guests. There is a house dog, Diva, who is as sweet an animal as you will encounter. Frankly even the many strays are polite! All-in-all, this was a good experience, close to the water and you can use the kayak too at no charge.

Location is very much off the beaten path, away from the tourist areas and quiet. If that's what you're looking for, it's great, but if you want to be in the middle of the resorts and casinos, you probably won't be happy here. It was perfect for us.

it is an excellent choice for an off the beaten path boutique hotel. it is not close to any stores or tourist attractions and you either need a car or be prepared to take a lot of taxis. one excellent fish restaurant which is a 2 min walk.

if you didn't have a rental car, it could be a bit pricey to get around but we had a car for most of our time there.

I loved the pool and the dock across the street. We used the dock to lounge every morning and evening. We fell in love with Diva the dog as well! Very comfortable beds, beach towels, had floaters for the pool along with snorkels if you wanted to do that across the road. There was even a kayak to use. The management was very accommodating and easy to contact. Also a nice restaurant close by at the marina.

I loved everything about this property

The property was amazing. All the latest appliances. Balcony with a view of the beach, sunrise and sunset. Close to the Airport but you hear no noise. Peaceful!!!
