No gym facilities and beach was across the street

At the edge of town and just a mile walk into city but the beaches were all a taxi ride away. The room was clean and spacious. No gym facilities. Ate at the bar restaurant and food was good. Pool was small and hot tub was not really hot. Overall the place was good and close to airport.

The staff were so friendly. There is a buffet breakfast option would like to see a little more on menu options like bagels ect .So convenient to walk across the street and enjoy the beach and the amenities there.Would definitely come back for are extra days needed at the end of our vacation

I booked 2 Adults and a 10 & 15 year old via BOOKING.COM for this hotel & flights. While the flights were as promised, clearly showing i booked them, The hotel said the booking was missing the children. Hotel "decided" to waive one kid and change as additional $100 for the other. They turned off our access keys until it was paid. Both Booking.com & the Hotel failed us. Booking.com has yet to update us with resolution

They put the airco on high all the time (70F / 17C) with the reason given this was because of the humidity and mold. With a heat wave outside the huge temp difference was rather uncomfortable.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is super convenient with both easy beach access and close to town. The rooms are nice, good bed, good bathroom.

There is a bar right across the street that has loud music and locals revving their motorcycles/doing donuts until 230 in the morning on fridays/sat, 12 on sundays and until about 10 on other nights. If you ask to switch rooms, since we were on the side closest to the street (west side), they will say the other rooms are premium rooms and an extra $20 a night. My guess is because the noise isn’t as bad. You can ask reception to call the cops at 1 am to try to stop the noise

The beds were comfortable, staff friendly, and the breakfast was great. We loved the beach right across the street too

Our windows were facing the bar which was very loud till 3 am. There is no sound isolation at all. Was hard to sleep.

The food was excellent. Compliments to the Chef. Car rental on site is nice addition. Personnel was very friendly.

The room was a bit dark for my liking but it was clean and the bathroom was updated.

Each staff member was so accommodating and kind. We only stayed one night before transferring to a resort for the week, but the servers at the bar were helpful with suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. It's our 1st visit to aruba and the people couldn't be nicer! The common area (lobby and restaurant/ bar) is open air and nicely appointed. We didn't use the pool, but families were enjoying the deep area plus the shallow area created for kids or just sunbathing. The drinks at the bar tasted great and the happy hour was a true 2 for 1. We only ate a snack but the mozzarella sticks were good. There are 2 busy, well known restaurants within walking distance but we didn't want to wait until 8:30 for dinner, so we walked across the street to a more "local" beachfront bar to eat. (If you are interested in the highly rated restaurants, make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance) We learned later that this was the 1st hotel in Aruba and has been renamed and updated to Talk of the Town.
