Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe queues for check-in and check-out were huge every day but reception was never fully staffed. There are bars with live music close by and the music is really loud until 4:30 which makes sleeping pretty impossible and while the music isn’t on every night, the party bus with music on full blast departs/arrives several times a night right outside the hotel and will also make it impossible to get a good nights sleep
The best thing about this property has got to be Flamingo Island, the boat trip there is good fun and it’s pretty great that it departs straight out of the hotel, the rooms are lovely, recently redecorated, great bars, lovely staff and being able to use a room to shower before leaving was really great and made the trip home much more pleasant

United StatesI didn't like the casinos because I lost😁. But in all seriousness, there was nothing I didn't like. The area may be a little boring for some who prefer to party, if that is you,the Palm Beach area may be your speed. But as for the facilities and staff, we liked it all.
We loved everything. The staff was EXCELLENT. From the front desk to the doormen, everyone was helpful, extremely nice and accommodating. Our room on the ocean suites side was clean, well stocked and spacious. We had a view of the parking lot and honestly that didn't matter. We did not do the all-inclusive because we love to research and eat at the local spots. But we did try LG Steakhouse (it was good, typical higher end fare. The mixologists were great) And we tried Aquarius (it was okay). The location was great. It was very walkable, and we felt extremely safe. The private island was AWESOME. We spent maybe 6 or 7 hours there. We had a great breakfast at Papagayo. The complementary pastries were very delicious. The fried grouper and lobster tail was excellent, and the drinks were pretty strong. If you can get a private cabana, DO IT. It's a little pricey but very worth it. The service is top tier and it really made our day worthwhile.

Great resort. We stayed at the Ocean suites which is a better location than the adults only site. The best bit was the free boat ride to Renaissance Island, where the Flamingos walk around the beautiful island lagoon

NorwayThe breakfast was very overpriced. I would categorize it as an OK selection but not good enough for 30 USD. But i may be picky as most hotels in Scandinavia have very nice breakfast buffets included or would charge way less. Many rooms turn in towards the reception area so you have to keep the curtains closed at all times. Again for the price may expect more comfort.
It was clean and modern standard. The Island was very nice and I spent most of the time there. May wanna stay other places in Aruba as well if you are there for 2 weeks or more

United StatesThe hotel has a private island and they placed the gym on the island. I would have preferred the gym where the suites are located.
Janice, at the front desk was exceptional. We had some issues with our reservations and it took a while but she sorted it out and was able to give us adjoining rooms. The resort is all suites which was nice. It comes with a mini fridge microwave and real dinnerware; you’ll be able to warm up your leftovers. The beaches were nice and not over crowded; we could always find a beach car under the shade. The beach chairs are nice and sturdy. Fresco the Italian restaurant served flavorful dishes appropriately portioned.
