Not the fault of the hotel but we didn’t realise we would need a booking for the rooftop bar, would be good to make guests aware when they check in how busy it is so they can organise accordingly if they wish.

Location was perfect for exploring the city, our room was so beautiful with an amazing view down the Yarra. The room and facilities were clean and high quality.

Sound asleep then fire alarm on first morning at 5am. Halfway down the fire stairs when advised it was a false alarm. There is a small sign by bathroom door asking guests to close bathroom door when showering as shower steam can set off fire alarm. Suggest this is more prominently displayed in bigger type and also adhered to the shower door as I happened only to see notice when I was looking for air con control panel. Also suggest that guests are advised of this on checkin. Train noise from 5.15am can be difficult to ignore.

Fabulous location. Comfortable bed. Decent sized room. Great rooftop bar and ground floor restaurant. Friendly, helpful team. Great view with floor to ceiling windows in room. Close to Flinders St Station and trams.

Would recommend booking the rooftop bar in advance to get good view seating. Music at rooftop bar could be better. Couldn’t fault anything else!!

Convenient location, close to crown casino, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooftop bar and buffet breakfast for only $25. Delicious food, comfortable bed, clean and we got a room upgrade free of charge.

Only criticism is the staff member that was Hosting/welcoming guests (n.b. she was Not at reception) at the front of the hotel on Sat 18th May around 6pm. I would highly recommend that she receive some training in terms of how she acts towards hotel guests. We were standing just inside the front of the hotel waiting for our Uber yet she was quite blatantly hostile towards us. If you are going to work in hospitality and are at the front of the hotel welcoming guests, perhaps learn to work on your customer service. All other Vibe staff were great, it was just this one person that really was a disappointment considering she was meant to make guests feel 'welcome'.

Location was fantastic - quite easy to get to and very convenient; only took us 5mins to walk to Southbank. The central warming in the room was easy to use and kept us quite warm.

the staff at reception were so friendly, polite and extremely helpful. actually, my experience with them was so good. The lady Anh and another guy with her done a great job. location is amazing just few minutes' walk away from train stain. hotel itself nicely designed, very comfortable and clean. I loved my stay there and will defiantly back again.

This is the first time we felt the room wasn’t as well presented as it has been previously. The bathroom was particularly cramped compared to our two previous stays, and the sink wasn’t clean.

We have stayed at Vibe Melbourne 3 times now and always enjoy our stay. It’s in a convenient location and I love how clean and fresh it smells when you walk into reception and the restaurant downstairs.

The aircon was unusually noisy - however they moved us to an upgraded room which was perfect - with very quiet aircon.

Perfect location overlooking the river, straight across from the restaurant and bar hub of the south side. Beautiful sunrises. Easy access to public transport, we used the trams a lot.
