How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Only thing I could think of that I didn't like was 2 single beds being joined together to make a king bed.
What a fantastic resort. Check in and check out was easy. They even allowed us to check in early with no additional cost. Room was large enough for our stay, general housekeeping every day as well as on weekends. When we did dine in the restaurant, food was lovely, quality was great. Cocktails by the pool were even better. Pool was large where you didn't feel like you were on top of another guest. Bike hire and also fishing rods for hire. Games room for everyone not just the kids. Local shuttle buses run regularly from the resort, so no need to worry about driving Overall a great family resort or even just as a couple's holidays as we did. But most of all a big shout-out to Clare who works on the front desk, Her help with bookings and local knowledge of tourist attractions was fantastic. No question was too hard for her

We were in a private room and enjoyed the facilities so we extended our stay into the resort room which was lovely. The pool was great with a swim up bar. The whole resort was amazing. The service by staff was exceptional always helping out. Was also in a great price range for the facilities.

Room could be a bit better sound proofed but not a deal breaker. The rest of the place made up for it.

I know about condensation, but the dehumidifier was noisy at night. Also the shower is a poor design, water runs down the shower wall, and across the tiles, pooling in the middle of the bathroom floor.
The room , bed and bathroom facilities were excellent. Dinner menu was good and food very tasty.

More comfy lounge chairs to sit and watch TV in the evening - But being seriously fussy the three seater couch and 1 seater occasional was fine. Was a drive to town.
Rooms were huge, kitchen and lounge was awesome too. Could easily stay a week+ Pool was amazing, kids played in it for ages while we swam, then sat and had a drink and watched them. The games room for fuzeball was fun for kids to gather

The room door could use something to cover the space between the bottom of the door and the floor. We had a cockroach in our room because there was a huge gap. Understandably we know they are on the property but didn't love it being in our room. The bed also was two twin beds pushed together instead of a real king/queen bed and were not super comfortable.
The pool and resort area was beautiful, felt like we were in the jungle and loved it.

Maybe have umbrella ready for patrons to use on-site we stayed while it was raining and getting from one area to the next we got a bit wet and some weren't undercover.

Supposed do a light clean each day only did on first day then no more even tbou we mentioned it to a member of staff.. so pool towels in the room were wet. Allso bath towels and ran out of toilet paper on last day . Coffee and tea, etc. never topped up
