Room smelt really bad, bathroom was horrible, bedding didn't seem clean. It's cheap but even still don't expect much.

The room had dirty walls partially in the bathroom and there were several warnings that steam from the shower can cause the fire alarm to go off and a $1750 call out charge would be applied. Also a sign stating that if the exhaust fan is on for a long period of time it may damage the fan on the roof resulting in a $500 penalty. Thankfully neither of these occurred.

For what the room was, i.e. a bed, ensuite (with 2 cold shower taps - shower was barely warm) and basic kitchenette - price was quite steep. Shared balcony, window with no security screen (unable to leave window open to let fresh air in, upon entry very musty and stale air).

Only problem is that the location is is directly on the flight path for the airport. Planes go over the building at a low level. It must be remembered that even though this is a negative, it is very quiet during the night from 11pm to 6am when flights are not allowed.

Good location near the restaurant area of Norton Street. Helpful office staff. Parking available on site at a very reasonable price. Good air conditioning. Comfortable and well maintained room. Good value for money in a Sydney location.

Mouldy smell from carpet outside. Tv a bit challenging to use. Ceiling fan didn’t work. Shower was lovely and roomy and the bed one of the best I’ve slept in.

Loved that it had a big kitchen downstairs and laundry. Around the corner from the 440 bus and not far from light rail and train station. Fantastic Irish pub where we got a $19 meal to share and Cole’s local

No hairdryer and iron in the room which is jot perfect when you are on work trip and habe to iron shirts. The room could be cleaner.

The shower door was broken. There was nowhere to dry wet things in the bathroom. There were condoms (new) on the floor beside the bed.

The proprietor was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked. There was a microwave and electric jug. The room was quiet and it had a balcony.

The water pressure wasn’t good the shower was a little unpleasant. There was a faint cigarette smell.

Staff were lovely and parking was easy to arrange. Room was comfortable for one night and the windows were very noise blocking.

The small balcony shared by one other room was good for ventilation but its floor had not been washed since rain had washed mud onto it before I arrived. The floor of the balcony was grubby and dusty and when I walked back into my room there was no doormat to wipe my shoes. I would like a basic breakfast to be available even if it was a picnic box style and expect to pay for it. There was tea and instant coffee, sugar and tiny milk at the room but it's difficult to bring breakfast supplies when arriving with luggage at a place you've never been to before.

The location was very convenient, near to public transport and plenty of places to eat. The hotel is on a very busy road, but my room was at the back and was very peaceful. The air conditioning worked well in the hot weather.
