The air conditioner was not good, didn't work properly, & we know now to use that type. It would not get very warm at all. Luckily we had extra warm clothes and there were extra blankets provided for beds. The air con needs attention. The design of the tiny shower area is really bad, guess it was done to fit more rooms in & to save money on bathroom fit outs. However, that will soon be false economy as the timber door frames of the shower area will rot as they already are. Never seen a shower area without a screen or curtain, we have stayed in many Caravan Park Cabins, & the bathrooms are never like that, let alone in a motel or hotel. There is nowhere to put the floor mat to keep it dry, except out in the "kitchen" area where one has to go to dry off & dress with no privacy, & in cold weather with the air con not functioning correctly that is not pleasant. As there is no sheer curtain, one has to remember to shut the block out ones, though doubt many people walk past the room, there is just the paddock outside which is good. At the very least the shower and toilet areas should have exhaust fans, they would help with the obvious moisture problem, the shower area preferably with the heater combination fan. Naturally we opened the windows (which are high) in the shower and toilet areas to help with ventilation, but as it was so cold outside and the air con was of little help, we had to shut them fairly soon. A small table (apart from the bedside tables) would be handy, it could be stored under the bench area.

The bonus question says that I stated a preference for a quiet room, which I did not, however certainly a quiet room is what I do like. The room was super quiet, & I suspect most of them there are. It was spacious & clean. Plenty of extras like tea, coffee, milk, toiletries etc, plenty of plates cutlery etc. Even were lovely little heart shaped chocolates on the bed. Good cupboard space. The larger of the 2 mattresses was very good, the single one was not & needs replacing in Room 26. Pillows comfy, & extra pillows & blankets in the wardrobe. Loved the small sheltered exterior back area outside the sliding doors, where there's a small table & two chairs. Appreciated the privacy of it. When we arrived the night before it was very cold and getting dark, so left the curtains closed & didn't discover that area till am; but next morning as the sun came out a bit were able to make use of it. Then realised we could have bought that little table inside the night before & had our meal from the restaurant in our room which is allowed & would have been great. The food at the restaurant is SO GOOD! The best Asian food I have had, usually it's more sauce than solid ingredients & the sauce too sweet or salty. Not here. The price is reasonable considering the generous serves, which also doesn't happen often. We have told others about it, & when we visit the Barossa again from Adelaide will eat there, even if not staying there. All the staff were lovely, including in the restaurant. Price of room was very reasonable hence why chosen it rather than other venues, as well as the great location. Also really helpful to be able to park a car right outside the room. Everything clean.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as ours at home. The temperature display on the air-conditioner was a little bit bright for us (as we are used to having a dark room at home). But these are minor things really, we'll make sure we're better prepared next time (and we'll have to try & go away a bit more so that we get used to sleeping on different types of mattresses!)

Extra pillows needed on the bed. The combined kitchen/bathroom vanity was a bit small but well appointed.

Nicely decorated ground floor room opposite the pool. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Location was good although a long walk to the main shops.

Some very strange noises coming from inside of the wall, street side. couldn't decide what it was until i had a look and saw the gas pipes on the wall outside. funny the sorts of noises you get when expansion and contraction due to the heat of the sun.
