Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ArmeniaBreakfast was delicious, very nice freshly baked croissants every morning! Pool was always clean and never a lot of people in it. Changing rooms were nice and clean too. Room was always clean when we returned to it, although it was smaller than I expected for a cottage. We had a complementary champagne and fruits sent to our room as it was our honeymoon, big thank you for that!

Hotel facilities are great, its' pool is probably the best indoor hotel pool in Armenia countryside. The view from our room was beautiful - illuminated Kecharis church at night was adding such a charm to the scene :)

The room was clean, comfortable, the location was great - fresh air and nice view. The room contained all the necessary amenities and the cleaning service was good. Moreover the food in the restaurants was really tasty.

United Arab EmiratesOur room was not ready even though we arrived 3 PM at the check in time. It was not expected from Marriott. Manager helped to accommodate us in another room when I insisted. The person at the reception was not cooperative till I asked for manager at the point of time.
Room was nice along with cleanliness of hotel. Location of hotel is great. It was a good decision to stay there. Good place to stay with family and kids.

IndiaThe only thing I didn't like was the climb up the almost 100 stairs to our cottage room! As the cottages are separate from the main building. No buggies or any assistance provided if you were tired. Also not all cottage rooms have a great view.

The rooms are bigger, location is perfect. Its 5-7 mins walk from centre. Inhouse Spa is very good and reasonable. Kids play area was the best. They were sanitizing the area every 2 hours.
