Hard to think of anything negative!

Beautiful view over Sandy Ground some days showing small ships anchoring. Great central location to east and west access. Easy driving as roads not busy. Small convenience store nearby as well as restaurants fairly close. Huge balcony. Condo was spacious, clean and was well equipped. WIFI was good. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Would stay here again.

Crystal made the property! Old fashion hospitality! Courteous and caring! From the small details of having a bag of ice ( the good kind) from having a couple of cans of Coke and bottle water in the fridge (no charge.) Plenty of towels, great directions on where to put gas and finding an ATM. I didn’t need room service but she did check on me and would love to chat about my day and plans. she gave you your space too! Never bothering like a property manager but like a new friend! My room(s) were excellent! I don’t cook but if you do, there is everything you need in the kitchen! The good Flame style stove with plenty of pots and pans! However 100 yards across the street is the Best BBQ shack home style cooking! $4 chicken (big) ribs and fish! Grab some beer is just a block away at the convenience store. Eat on your gorgeous patio/balcony and watch the sunset! You can hear a local bar singing (well) at night!

The property manager Crystal was as crystal as the Shoal Bay waters! Fantastic human being! She communicated with me each step of the way and even got me a car, when the whole island was sold out! You NEED a car! The car is a game changer! Too much to write on a review but I’m definitely coming back! You can keep the Four Seasons! I’ll take this cozy villa anytime!

There is a busy street in front of the complex. It provides a lot of noise. The location seemed somewhat unsafe. There was a locked gate and heavy locked front door to this particular unit. All of the windows were wavy glass, so it was hard to see the views without going outside.

Gina went above and beyond to make sure we got to the facility on time, even contacting the ferry company in St Martin to hold the boat for us as our flight was running late. She also drove ahead, while we followed behind to a nice restaurant our first night. She truly was a knowledgeable concierge, making great recommendations for dining and going to the best beaches. She did anything needed for our comfort. The view of Sandy Ground Beach from the back porch was beautiful and calming. The air conditioning runs perfectly and there are several ceiling fans in the rooms. It was helpful to have a kitchen and small living area to enjoy, especially on rainy days.

There was no air conditioning in front of the house only in the master bedroom. There was a ceiling fan in the living room area and the extra bedroom. However, it wasn’t enough to keep the areas cool. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable to be in those areas. You could definitely feel the difference from one extreme to the other . In my opinion the furniture and decor is out dated and could be use a modern upgrade. The last thing that I didn’t like was dogs in the neighborhood . They would bark like crazy at night making it hard to sleep and roosters crowing. I’m a light sleeper so this was disruptive to my sleep. I had to use ear plugs to get my sleep.

The location of the villa is incorrectly mapped on booking.com. The pin was showing somewhere in The Valley where as the villa is nearby to Sandy Grounds. There was no shampoo on the first night. The reception is not open 24/7 as described in the facilities on booking.com. I didn’t see any shuttles during my stay as described.

When booking no deposit is required .. after booking they took a deposit.. then when inquiry about it .. they say we don't need a deposit and we do not need to make a deposit.. they refunded they money and told the secretary to cancel our booking because we didnt make the deposit .. misleading and very deceptive... get your information correct .. than to mislead your guest.. it was rude and very uncomfortable.. not only that the card was run under a car rental instead of the villa
