Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomMOSQUITOS and lack of protection from them. The uncleanliness of the overall facility. The room had mosquito repellents on the window that were broken to pieces, full of holes and hanging of the wall. Despite reporting this all they did was enter the room without consent and spray it with bug repellent!! Which did NOT work.
I liked the fact that there was a beach nearby although full of jellyfish and a lot of us were stung!

United KingdomV few activities at the hotel- only a few water sports provided and even these couldn't happen when the member of staff in charge was on days off water supply interrupted for a few hours on two separate occasions on our stay Rooms not the most modern, but didn't bother us as still clean and comfy small pool but again didn't need with 4 beaches limited veggie options esp at lunch and dinner
Breakfast amazing! lovely customer service with really attentive and friendly staff with no exception location and the 4 beaches all incredible- some of the best on the island and rarely too busy private balcony with almost panoramic views of the ocean lots of wildlife viewed at the resort- pelicans, lizards, tarantula and even cats, goats and pigs! really great snorkeling right off the beach and able to borrow masks and kayaks from the hotel All food and drinks of a good standard Bands twice a week for dinner amazing value for money and location!

United StatesTo be very honest, you must take advantage of the breakfast and lunch because what's served for dinner is not the best. Although the room was beautiful, the shower pressure isn't the best. Also, I am a heavy coffee drinker, there wasn't any coffee maker in the room and the coffee served in the morning isn't brewed. Highly suggested the property manager updating the coffee being served.
The property manager was amazing. When first arriving at the property we shared some concerns, however, the staff and manager definitely took them into consideration. Breakfast and lunch are really good. The drink at the bar is really good and staff will literally make any mixer you want. Please keep in mind you will get what you pay for. The hotel is not your typical all-inclusive property, however, it is a beautiful place to go with your family or your partner. Definitely a scene for an area retreat. the property has four beautiful beaches worth dying for. This property is definitely for older folks and the location is a little far from the town but a 15 minutes drive. I would highly recommend this place and plan to return!

United StatesKeep in mind that I that I am an overall fan of the resort, but I understand that not everyone shares my “vacation priorities” (lots of sun, nice sand, gorgeous water, some food, a decent drink, a clean room, willing staff). Ok, lunch was an unmitigated disaster. Lunch is served at the beach bar, an area that is too small and ill-equipped to accommodate all guests in the short timeframe that lunch is served. Lunch was consistently understaffed; tables, dishes, and floor were dirty; ordering from the menu took forever and the servers resented bringing food to the table. The grill had one poor hardworking employee trying to serve the entire resort and the small buffet at the grill was constantly running out of side dishes. People could wait up to thirty minutes (hot and standing in line) to get a hamburger burger, only to find there were no condiments or salad left. Even people who love the resort were very frustrated at lunch. “Afternoon tea” was basically non-existent. It consisted of a few tired sandwich triangles and some scones that came out much later. The small serving platters (actually Tupperware containers) were not readily replenished so there seemed to be a mad dash when the food arrived (not relaxing!) As I mentioned before, the resort is old and tired and many things don’t work properly, for example, some of the beach showers. The resort is going to be closed soon for renovations, so we expected that it would be on its last legs (and it was). They seem to be running out of basics like spoons, plates, beach towels etc. and not prepared to buy more until they renovate. If you are not expecting this, and are expecting a typical all-inclusive experience, the resort could be very disappointing. I am looking forward to visiting the resort after the renovations. As prices will most likely increase, I hope they get their systems under control and can provide a more consistent experience for guests.
I love the property itself and how the resort is laid out. There are four beaches so the resort never feels crowded (especially at the beach). The main dining area and drink terrace has a lovely view of the ocean and the sunset. The two bars are great with very nice drinks (better than most all inclusives). Dinner was consistently tasty and pleasant and the dinner staff were excellent. Breakfast was good, but a bit disorganized and random. For example, it could take ages to get tea or coffee, they often ran out of spoons and plates, many serving dishes were empty and not refilled etc. Our room was large and had a beautiful view (beach club). It was tired but very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful (unfortunately, they sometimes lacked basic necessities, like sufficient clean towels, to do their jobs properly). One plus for us was that there was no real entertainment and no activities. We wanted a quiet, calm atmosphere and didn’t want to pay for (or listen to) those amenities. Most people at the resort seemed to be of the same mindset and there are people who return to the resort every year for this reason. This resort is much less expensive than other all inclusives on the island. We were there for the gorgeous water, the quiet beaches, and the sun. We knew what to expect from reading the reviews and from previously touring the property, so we were fully ready to enjoy the resort for what it is (and for what we considered to be great value for money) and not focus too much on what it lacks.
