The location on the palm is great for the beach but not that good for exploring Dubai. Luckily we had a car.

The hotel is very clean, with really diligent and friendly staff. The beach club was great. The room was really comfortable and the cleaning staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Receptionist was wonderful - wish I had noted her name. So friendly and welcoming. Upgraded our room which was fantastic. We had a very short stay but would recommend if you need more of an apartment stay and facilities vs hotel. Ie kitchen and living room space included too.

There are a few experiences that made my stay a less-than-five-star experience: - there is a huge construction ongoing nearby and every morning (including on Friday-Saturday) I woke up at 7 am at the sound of machinery moving and beeping - restaurant where the breakfast is served was small and crammed, full of people - the pool and beach area is definitely not five stars. It was overcrowded (non-residents are allowed in contra cost) and I waited 20 minutes in line to get a towel. I waited 45 minutes for a drink ordered and then I was asked to pay for it without receiving it; when I said that I will first get my drink and then pay for it, the staff member snapped at me, asking for my room number and telling me that he "cannot hold a table for so long" (there was no reservation or table involved) and that there were 1000 people present who needed to be served. I was not impressed. I eventually got my drink and I paid for it, but this was far from the nice beach afternoon I was very much looking forward to. The hotel is good, but overpriced. The apartment definitely matched the price I paid for three nights, but the services and facilities did not.

Very good location, spacious, beautiful apartment with gorgeous views. The cleaners Surendra and Utais did a great job, my apartment was spotless all the time. Good room service, efficient reception services. Good spa services, I was especially content with the massage I booked, great masseuse from Thailand. Food served at breakfast was delicious. Overall, a nice hotel.

There is an ongoing construction with constant activity and noises. The pool area is kind of crowded and with quite loud music.

We had a very time at the place in a room with lots of space. Everybody was super friendly and very supportive.

Very nice pool area with close to the sea. Large nice apartment with sea view. Good cleaning. We had booked a half-board package for 5 days and were not completely satisfied after the first evening, but we received incredibly nice service from Surabhi who solved it very well for us and we ate very good food all the remaining evenings. The other girls who worked in the restaurant were also very nice. We also had big problems getting from the palm when we were going to leave because it had rained so much that the taxis couldn't drive all the way to Wyndham. We got a lot of help trying to find a taxi from Bertha and then when that didn't work, he arranged a shuttle bus so we could get out of there.

My main concern was the situation around the pool area. There was "discrimination" between the hotel guests and those living in the residences when it came to obtaining a sun lounger . We were with our 3 year old grandson so wanted loungers at the front so we could watch him closely in the pool , we always made sure that one of our party was with him when he was playing in the pool , but I noted some young children were in the pool unattended . According to staff as we were 'only' hotel guests we had to choose loungers with blue towels on them , which were all situated further back . We managed for the week but it usually meant out party of 5 had to split up , but more importantly I see this as a safety issue which needs to be addressed quickly !!. If you have a young child who wants to use the pool then you need close access ! The location was nice but be prepared to use taxis to get to the Marina & restaurants of an evening .

Breakfasts were good , plenty of choice , looked forward to breakfast every day . Room was clean , plenty of fresh towels , Aman & Thomas did an excellent job with the housekeeping .
