The AC stopped working in the middle of the night so disrupted my sleep. The AC’s in general weren’t cool enough so I struggled with getting a good night sleep

Unfortunately there were no hooks, racks or chairs to hang our towels, wet swimming suits or anything else. We also had to ask for hangers. Although initially they said they can’t provide any, they were kind enough to bring us 5. We also had a problem with the pressure in the shower. Once we flagged it, they were very prompt to attempt and fix the problem.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and just the right size for the tree of us. We traveled with our 5 years old.

Garbage from the compound to the right of the resort enter the sea at high tide and litter the beach. The municipality needs to take strict action against littering the public beach by imposing fines on offenders and putting up notice boards and garbage bins to stop this from happening.

The standard room is basic and matching the description on the photos. The shower gel was empty which is a shame upon checking in. There is ongoing work to renovate parts of the hotel but doing construction work in the bedroom next door to ours at 10.30pm is not great. They did stop once we (and others) complained to reception. The fan in the bathroom was open (option to close it was broken) which meant lots of mosquitoes could get in.

This hotel is a haven for dogs! This is the main reason why we chose to come! The vibe there is great! Lumi beach was amazing! Everyone was friendly and dog friendly. The beach was clean and the water clear. Perfect spot to spend some time with your furry friends. The beach bar/restaurant was lovely: many options and very decent prices. If you come on Thursdays, they have a ladies day and some amazing discounts. We will return for sure!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Location of the hotel was perfect. Good food and ambience of the Beach restaurant. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Bathrooms need to be refurbished, the bathtubs had cracks in it and looked old. Wifi signal is very low in the rooms. Biggest issue for us is the pool should have been heated or at least temperature controlled, the water was so cold that we could not stay and enjoy it. It is very windy in Umm Al Quwain so if you’re not wrapped up right away, you freeze! Both days we were there it was so windy that the beach was closed off as the waves were too high. We still got to sit by the beach and build sandcastles but could not enjoy a swim in the sea. Wish there was another restaurant to enjoy a different type of cuisine. We got bored of the menu by day 3!

Spacious rooms, we parked our car right in front of our villa. Comfortable beds and the soap/conditioner/shampoo that are provided smell amazing! Short walk to the pool and beach area. Food is good at the restaurant by the beach and by the pool. Breakfast is good too. There is a Grab ‘n Go shop with basics and a few snacks.

At breakfast we had to ask for an actual cup and drinking glass as there were only plastic cups for water and juices and coffee take away cups available on display, which is very disappointing. The room/ facility seems a bit outdated (style, tiles, curtains, furniture). In room coffee machine as well as fruits available in room was promised on booking.com but the staff assured us this has never been an option at this hotel. Breakfast only starts at 8am, so if you need a coffee as an earlier riser you have to use powder and a kettle. Mattress is a bit on the soft side (for those that don't like it)

Great beach, especially if you want to bring your dog along. Staff is friendly and accommodating and we will for sure come back for beach days

Didn’t get a choice of bath or shower

Second visit, love the calm and low key vibe of this place. The rooms are clean although the bathrooms in some rooms are a bit dated. Beds are super comfortable and water pressure is good. WiFi was better this time. Breakfast is good quality and plentiful and the beach bar is a great place for drinks and food at any time of the day. Also great food at the Lebanese restaurant to the side of the property (same ownership).

The only area for improvement is the quality of breakfast! We have been here 3 times over the years and everything else has improved significantly but the breakfast spread and food quality is still lacking.

Amazing stay - we love it because it’s so pet friendly and is the only hotel in the UAE of its kind for pets.

Was a bit weird with dogs running here and there , need to have better control on this. My room had empty shower gel which should have been filled before checking.

The vibe and location is nice, the rooms are nested within the location of trees and vegitation making you feel comfortable. Music is really nice and the parties there are great!!!

The room and breakfast were really outdated. I guess they are rebranding most of the hotel and they’re doing a good job with that. So hopefully in some time they will do the last few rooms and breakfast also.

The beach is beautiful and also the set up of the large rooms with a door directly to the garden.
