How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I am not being rude. But i think a little bit more cleaning will do. Its an honest opinion. But their staff are nice. 🙂
Good location. Walking distance in khor fakkan falls and beach. Nice staff. And they do their best if you have some request or changes in your booking. 🙂

The room was on top floor and the noise of air conditioning machine was not less than the noise of a nearby helicopter. This was very disturbing and I was not able to sleep the whole night !

Friend and I booked 2 rooms, one apartment, one bedroom. Some repairs are needed e.g. in his bedroom the electricity socket points were not working. In the apartment, unfortunately most of the cooking and dining materials (plates, pots, pans) have very likely been taken by other guests because there was only one pot and one knife left. This is not the hotel's fault but it means that for cooking, the guest has to bring everything from home. Alternative is to simply eat outside at the small restaurants which was fine (but these places were closed during daytime at Ramadan time as Khor Fakkan being in Sharjah observes the rules more strictly than the rest of the country). Just something to know before going.
Close to the beach. Walking distance to small restaurants on the main road. Parking was simple and free, next to the building. Rooms were clean and spacious, the apartment had a small balcony. Like us, if you are looking for some accommodation close to the beach and will spend the day doing sports, this is a very affordable place to live in. Staff were very friendly and tried their best, even if unable to meet certain requests.

Feels like the hotel staff are trying to provide a good service, but the management aren't spending enough on the customer experience. Facilities in the room and bathroom are cheap quality for the room price. With a little more investment, it could be good, but at the moment, it's relatively expensive for what it is The location is near, but not on the seashore - it's one block back from the sea front.
Convenient location for our purpose. Staff were helpful. Comfortable, large bed with clean linen.

It was a bit pricey because it was a holiday. I would probably want the floors to be mopped shiny although the place looked clean.
The location was very good. It was walking distance to the beach and the famous waterfall.

Even they don't have a coffee cup and not even a disposable paper cup. Thy prefer guests used the water glasses for the coffee. Wash basin was not working properly, also choked.

No swimming pool ,no restaurant in the hôtel Air conditioning very noisy Shower head working poorly so almost no water Noisy neighbour. Very expensive hôtel compared to other hôtels with lots of services and modernity in the uae.
The hôtel is close to the beach with Mountain views and quiet area .Easy to park and free. It is located in the center town. Small hôtel. Smiling staff and very helpful.

The hotel staff is amazing, folks helped me with all possible questions I had. Location is very comfortable also, 1 minute walk to the seashore and promenade. The interior is good enough, as expected.

The pillow is too big so produse painfully in the neck. The water boiler is burn and dirty. I found cockroaches in bathroom. The air condition is very cold and directed to the bed.

Filthy carpets. Paint flaking off walls. No dishes, cups, plates, cutlery in the apartment kitchen (totally bare cupboards except 2 saucepans). Only 1 small bottle of water provided for a 2 night stay. AC not working (blowing hot air). No toilet roll provided. No hot water in the shower.
