How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Poor choice of pastry, ham, jams. Appreciate fresh orange juice, Coffee. Room clean services . Swimming pool and yacuzzi.

The windows are really dirty. I got an executive room but it is almost the same as a general one but with the window in the back side of tv which is really dirty and I hide it with the curtains

There isn't much to complain about here. It did what is was supposed to do. Would I come here for a romantic weekend? No. Would I come here to have some sort of amazing story to tell? No. Would I come here on work because I needed everything to work and not have to deal with the quirks of smaller, boutique hotels? Absolutely.
This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a comfortable, clean, corporate hotel without much personality. The staff was great. The facilities are terrific. The location was ok for what I needed. Even the coffee shop in the lobby had GREAT food. But it was all just like other Novotels. That isn't a bad thing. Just corporate and a little souless.

Maybe I’ll recommend having the fridge fixed or performing a regular maintenance as this is something I face usually in most the hotels.

Wifi seemed to block content sometimes and didnt always work
Decent choice of food at breakfast. Location a bit out of the way, but taxis are plentiful and ok for cost.

Nice Hotel, Good staff. Housekeeping cleaned the room very well. Thank you Mr Sooraj and Nabeel. Enjoyed Breakfast, thumbs up to Hilda and Sivadas. Kudos to reception team Hicham, Hritika and Ahmed. Will come back again!

I didn't like sigaret smell. I took 'no smoke room' even so little smell was there. All entertainment quite far from hotel. You have to rent a car.
Breakfast was very delicious. Bathroom got both shower and bath tube. Very pleasent staff. Got TV with youtube on it. Free vallet parking. Overall Good for staying.

Bathroom hygiene. There were no towels for two persons, only for one person, which is not hygienic. Towel and soap must be requested at the reception.

Whenever I visit Novotel, I consistently encounter issues with employee attitudes. During my last stay, both the valet and bellboy services were disappointing. A mix-up between them resulted in me not receiving a ticket when I handed over my car, which caused further inconvenience when retrieving it later, as staff were hesitant to release my vehicle without the ticket. Additionally, the room's condition was subpar; the carpet was marred with cigarette burns, and the toilet appeared old with noticeable black scratches. Furthermore, the room had an ironing board but no iron, which seemed like an oversight. Should guests be expected to bring their own iron?

The staff in the reception did not grant my request to have connecting rooms since i have 2 babies.. while he was assisting me checking in, a guy was waiting at my back then he asked how he can help instead of finishing me first so i told him i have babies waiting so he need to assist me first
