It appeared that our room was only half ready for us. There was no tea, shampoo, body lotion , not enough drinking water or towels. The hotel policy of only providing one bottle of water per guest is simply not good enough in a country where you cannot drink the tap water and this is the only hotel I’ve stayed at in the UAE that charges for extra water in the rooms! We asked on multiple occasions for tea bags and the correct toiletries, in the end I had to go down to the reception before we received these. It was a very busy weekend with a huge group of 140 guests arriving at once. There needed to be better supervision at the pool as many families were not able to play safely with the group of guests throwing and playing ball games in the pool, effectively taking over the whole area. Knowing in advance that this many guests were arriving, ensuring that there were enough staff at reception , drink ingredients at the pool bar and loungers at the poolside would have made the stay better. You should also offer better coffee options for breakfast, simply having pre-made caffeinated coffee in a large urn in substandard for a hotel of this calibre- there should be a machine like every other hotel I’ve stayed at or with staff making the coffee options as per guests requests and not expect guests to pay extra for any other coffee choices they may have.

Beautiful well-presented hotel on the beachfront of Fujairah. Our room was really big with a balcony and had views of the sea and pool. The bed was big and very comfortable with enough pillows. The breakfast area was really big with a lot of options for food. Sreekumar in housekeeping was helpful and Rona was polite and efficient on reception.

The hotel needs to get their coffee game right when serving breakfast. We do not find it ok to be asked to pay extra for an espresso / americano in a hotel that gives itself 5 stars. A good quality automatic coffee machine + good quality beans will do the job. The changing facility at the pool need a completely different solution. Check in process needs an upgrade - waiting 30 min is not ok (even during a busy period).

We had certain issues with our initial room. The management stepped in and offered us an upgrade. We were very pleased with the decision and how prompt it was. Staff members aimed to please (our best regards to Steveen). Nice pool. Beautiful views from our balcony. Nice breakfast.

Reception never answer the phone (I called 7 times different timing) . The view supposed to be sea and it was partial view,kids were playing on the coridor and ringing at our door and run away (we complained 3 times till they stopped them) poor meniu for a 5 stars hotel .

I think the hotel could tie up with a proper water sports company and organize a larger number of beach activities like snorkeling, glass boat etc. There were only a handful of activities on the beach, which could be made better use of..

The staff was excellent, very polite, courteous and professional. I would like to particularly make a mention of Hind. She ensure our check in process was smooth and that we got our room of choice. She was also extremely professional and courteous while completing our check out process..

We asked for water ,and we were refused unless we were extending. This was a big damper. I've been in UAE for 9 years and getting extra drinking water was never an issue. It was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT 😞 Embarrassed, as this was a treat to my friend from UK .

Hind, who was behind the desk gave more than I had expected. She is phenomenal. The views were out of this world. Room big and comfortable. AL Bahar is in my next bucket list.

It was not bad, however, dinner was not up to what I would have expected especially the variety. Granted it was Iftar and the restaurant was packed but cold food is never nice and the international dishes were little and focused on Eastern Europe ( the hotel is a favorite for Eastern Europeans)

The hotel is a beautifully kept property with everything you may need for a nice stay. What makes it great is their people, from the moment you step inside they are attentive, looking for ways to serve. I went with my mom, she had an accident in Dubai and was having issues walking properly for the first couple of days, the staff kept asking if she needed anything, offered a wheelchair, opened doors, and even helped us with the closest table to the restaurant door. We will come back for sure.

The hotel seemed understaffed. Perhaps we came when it wasn’t the peak of the season or maybe it was due to the weather (wasn’t too hot).

The hotel is mesmerisingly beautiful and charming. Everything inside has this wonderful flowery scent. The restaurant “Diwan” serves excellent and delicious food (seafood chowder is from another world). The cafe “La Perla” is such a cosy place even to work from. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever attended. There is a great variety of everything, fruit, pastry (even gluten-free options). The staff are kind and helpful. The jacuzzi is fabulous. The beach is lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was not crowded when we went.
