How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Internet connection was poorly. At some area of rooms it was nill or light range..
The staffs were so nice, especially those at Reception. Breakfast was excellent though mainly focused on English people. We were offered bigger rooms than what we booked. We really enjoyed the stay over this hotel.

- mold in the bathroom - some difficulties with parking
The person on reception on our arrival date was very welcoming and immediately changed our room when we wanted a non-smoking one, the men on the next day were kind of arrogant in our opinion. Doormen and sauna people are super friendly too.

Nothing. Everything was good. It's a value for money and a nice 2-star hotel.
room was neat and clean and comfortable. Also, lots of yummy Pakistani restaurants in that area. Hotel has parking. Good place for tourists and residents to hang out in Sharjah. It's close to corniche.

Room was too cold even without using the AC. Window wasn’t able to open to get fresh air. for a 4* hotel and this price I expecting more, but was still the cheapest option for a private double hotel room in Dubai.

The toilet was very small but was clean.
I like the location and the room was good and clean. The price was also good it's advailable to book the room through booking it was cheaper than direct rates.

Staff at the restaurant not nice and not flexible: management validated that we can grab some food 20 min before breakfast opening but restaurant staff refused to let us do whereas it was already prepared, available even if we paid for it…

The location was not as expected it was in surrounded by buildingsthe parking were very tight and i parked in rental park for hotel but the park owner was not proficinal and i did not feel safe to park. The beds sheets were clean but old. The AC couldn't set properly either full cold or i switch off. The restaurant area was small and tight.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, although i booked for 5 guests through booking but it was not clear that the rooms are not connected so the hotel team contacted me and informed me for better option with two rooms and saloon all connected.

There is no airport shuttle. It is on their website and the booking.com amenities but they don't have one. Bummer, bc that was our #1 needed feature and the reason we booked this hotel. The elevator was out of service at 0300 when we needed to leave so we had to carry our luggage down 4 flights of stairs. They didn't have a taxi waiting for us in lieu of the non-existent airport shuttle as we had arranged. The website advertises a shuttle to 3 places in Sharjah, but they only go to the beach and the city centre. And only 2x a day.
They gave us one of our 2 rooms early and at no charge. The family suite was spacious and had a kitchenette (though no dish or cookware, just empty cabinets).

* There is bad smell in the sofas and in the washroom. The living room furniture needs serious refurbishment. * For the extra bed blanket provided had the same bad smell. * Though I commend the efforts of the maintenance team for keeping the things working, the bathroom fixtures (taps, shattaf, shower head) and bathroom in general needs a lot of refurbishment.
* Breakfast is good, request to add one Indian breakfast item. * Staff are experienced and trained for customer service. * Bed is comfortable * Valet parking is well managed though small.
