Set in Kaeng Krachan, Baan Maka Nature Lodge offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Offering a garden, the property is located within 5 km of Kaeng Krachan National Park. We contacted the lodge and they arranged our transportation from our condo in Hua Hin to the lodge. The lodge is beautiful, clean and peaceful with lots of beautiful birds and butterflies.   The lodge arranged Piak, our very knowledgeable guide and the perfect truck as transport to the fabulous National Park.   At the lodge, we enjoyed the challenging trek up to the Viewpoint on their trail.  The lodge also arranged our transport to Bangkok.  So everything was perfectly arranged and convenient for us. We had two nights at the lodge, perfect for us, who are not birders.

We loved the beach sunbeds provided perfect relaxation, and the friendly and helpful staff, the good healthy foods in the restaurant. It was a time we felt comfortable as if we were in our own home.
