Immediately we were welcomed by the lovely, waving, smiling faces of Mima, Indra, Uli and Ringo, which made us feel like home instantly. The brand new bungalows are beautiful, spacious and offer plenty of options to hang, lay and store your clothes and belongings. The view from the terrace is just phenomenal. We could sit there and gaze for hours. The food served three times a day was delicious. Always plenty of choice and more than enough for everyone. They even have cold soft drinks and beers available, which can not be taken for granted in a remote place like raja ampat. Another bonus point. The common area is very cosy to sit around and chat with the other guests as well as with the lovely staff, such as Ringo singing and playing the guitar. He truly is an artist! The house reef right in front is excellent and very easy to access. We even saw 2 mantas, a white tip reef shark, black tip reef sharks and many turtles swimming past on our first snorkel out there. Captain Freddy took us out for a daytrip to Friwen wall and beach and showed us his beautiful home while driving past the scenic views. The location is beautiful. Who doesn’t love an above water bungalow. Rooms were clean and a fair size with a good size bathroom. The food is delicious and always way too much, but thankfully it’s a polite custom to leave food on your plate as an offering. The staff was so kind. Maria, Rebecca, John, the kitchen staff were all so kind and helpful. Oh and you can walk into the sea at the end and snorkel right over some beautiful corals … loved it.

Wai Resort - Raja Ampat ligger precis stranden i Pulau Birie och har en trädgård och en bar. Boendet har conciergeservice och gratis WiFi. På Wai Resort - Raja Ampat har samtliga rum ett skrivbord. Enchanting boutique resort in true Papuan style with a professional diving and snorkeling center in a private island led by Martina, a wonderful host full of humour and tips. We truly loved our week there and we would like to come back. Food was delicious and freshly made every day. We also had the opportunity to do 3 snorkeling tours in nearby location and they were awesome. Please before booking take into account the place is really authentic and if you are looking for classic resort with continental breakfasts this may be different and reach out to staff to understand the nature and the magic of the place.

Meridian Adventure Marina Club & Resort Waisai erbjuder boende i Waisai, Raja Ampat. Här finns även en restaurang och möjlighet att dyka. Rummen har platt-TV. Meridian is a great way for people who have not been to Raja Ampat to get introduced to what the area has to offer without committing to more local accommodation. The property, food and location were fantastic. The people who looked after us made the stay really homely. Thank you.

My daughter Amanda and her husband enjoyed Agusta and they said: Agusta is a dream. The island is full of untouched life. We were at Agusta for 5 nights for our honeymoon. All the cabins are beachfront, the staff is super friendly and always greet you with a smile. Marco and Mara, the owners, are very dedicated to their island. Mara personally checks every excusion/dive plan the night before with the guides. The food is amazing, breakfast is buffet style. Lunch is usually an italian dish. For dinner you get to choose usually between a seafood dish or a variation of chicken. The only feedback we have is for the salad. Lunch and dinner would always start with a small salad, always green and purple cabbage. It would be awesome to switch it up for a caprese salad or spinach. The guides are very knowledgeable and care about your safety. Our dive guide Olen was amazing, would definitly recommend him. We will be going back!
