Its beautiful villa with huge tropical garden and pool. Its very quiet and with only few people accomodate,you feel like you all alone. The staff is very helpful and polite. Althought they have only ayurweda food,the prepared other meals for us🙏 its 10min drive to Ambalangoda and Balapitya. Aroud near on Galle road are some shops. Theu little alley you are on beach in less than 5 min walk.

We recently visited Sheraton and it was our honeymoon stay and i should say I was so glad that we selected Sheraton to spend our honeymoon. One day was too short to experience all the facilities they offer but yet we experienced many as we can. Check-in was very smooth and only took very few minutes and escorted to the room by Mr. Emil who is the front desk manager. It was our pleasure to meet such a gentleman who took care of us from checkin to checkout. Since we requested a higher floor room they have allocated top floor room for us which was a great news to start with. When we enter to the room there was a nice bed deco , Fruit basket and cake was waiting for us as honeymoon amenities which was complimentary. More importantly there was note from Mr. Emil to welcome us written by himself which was more personal than printed letters which other hotels practices. Also I should highlight on a small point which catches my eye which is their waste bins. It was segregated into two parts as recyclable side and non recyclable side. This is a small but yet a great gesture taken by the company to segregate the waste from the guest rooms itself which is a great example for others as well. Since we wanted to try out a la carte we booked only on bed and breakfast. So we tried Olive restaurant which is a restaurant and bar. Service was great and we met Mr. Samitha who is another person made our stay more memorable. He was very polite and checked with us at dinner and breakfast both just to make sure we enjoy our meals. Big shout out to Samitha as well to his hospitality also to the barman Thilina who was the barman at olive restaurant. I wish if they had weather blinds at Olive restaurant since it is an outside restaurant as it is bit disturbing on a rainy day. Breakfast was at S kitchen which is their main restaurant which offers giant breakfast buffet. I would say it was the heaviest breakfast we had. Food was excellent. Overall it was a satisfied stay

I would give this 11/10 if that was possible. We stayed in 12 different accommodations on our trip, and this one was our favourite. The lobby was very impressive, quite the wow factor when we arrived, almost Arabic in style. We booked a standard room, but the owner upgraded us for free to his superior room. I recommend you book this room. It has an upstairs bedroom/ bathroom and balcony, with amazing views of the infinity pool and lake. Downstairs is a living area, with a bar. The accommodation was immaculately clean, very spacious, comfortable bed soft pillows, excellent AC and very tastefully decorated. The owner is running the accommodation, making sure you get the best out of your stay. The chef is very talented, as a vegetarian, it was one of my favourite meals in Sri Lanka. The owner arranged a sunrise boat trip on the lake for us, we were reluctant at first, as it was an early start , but was well worth the effort. It is just a couple of kms from the beach, but we preferred to stay by the pool in the daytime, relaxing and swimming. In the evening we took the kayaks, which the owner supplies for guest use for a sunset cruise on the lake. The most amazing thing about this stay was the 100s of bats that fly, in unison, overhead as night falls to feed in the fruit trees at night. It was a fantastic phenomenon, something I have never seen before. We booked 2 nights here, but would have happily stayed more. Don't miss this stay, everything was beyond perfect.

We wanted to enjoy our last 5 days in luxury and in a hotel on the beach. And here we were lucky to choose the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hotel is apparently quite new and has not yet received stars on booking.com, but I have no doubt that they deserve 5! 🤩 There are only 8 rooms (large) and 2 suites (with private pool). So you quickly get to know the other guests and not least the staff. And they are something very special. You are simply taken care off, so it's unbelievable. We travel with a 9-year-old and since there were no other children in the hotel, they played ball and played with him in the pool. They arranged breakfast on the beach and they prepared the sunbeds right on the spot they knew we would like to lie down. They also drove right down to town and picked up what we needed. And since our flight was delayed, so we had to rebook the whole trip, we could just stay one day in the same room - no problems. They are simply amazing! The hotel is located approx. 10 min by tuk-tuk outside Bentota in the Induruwa area. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby if you want to walk around the area. But we mostly went for a walk on the incredibly beautiful and deserted beach. Here the locals fish on the rocks and you have the most amazing sunset. We also saw a dolphin up close.🐬 There are pretty big waves, but we swam anyway - because there is a lifeguard who is ready with diving goggles when you approach the sea.
