Extra touches with a welcome gift, snack, bottle of Prosecco, and a nice spread of breakfast foods and coffee. Was amazing. The owner and her daughter were amazing hosts. In fact, we made a mistake and left our passports in the safe and didn't realize until we reached La Spezia. They offered to drive them out to us and meet us instead of us having to take drive back and gather them. This was an amazing and greatly appreciated gracious favour. We would recommend this property to anyone!!

Featuring a terrace and garden, Hotel La Colonnina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast daily, buffet-style. The staff was so oncredibly inviting! The hotel was very clean and beautiful. Our room was very big and very nicely decorated. Bathrooms appeared to be marble tile. The breakfast was great and the wonderful lady that made cappuccinos created fun designs of jellyfish and various fishes in the frothed milk. It was a great stay and very much woth the price. They also had discounted stays if you call them directly, as well as discounts on the Cinque Terre train and hiking card. The hotel was also located within a quick walk to the main promenade areas of the old town, but it was one alley back away from the main streets so there was zero noise. The courtyard was also really nice to sit in and sip a glass of wine.

The view, the staff, the nature, the fresh smell in the air. This is a one of a kind stay, and i do recommend it to everyone. Take some drivingskill to get there, but it's worth it!

Mi a placut locatia foarte mult, se afla chiar in centrul orasului. Daca doriti sa vizitati Cinque Terre, puteti ajunge in port in doar 2 min , chiar de unde se i a barca. Distanta fata de gara este la cca 10 min de mers pe jos. Un hotel curat si bine ingrijit iar proprietarul este foarte sociabil si gata sa va ajute cu ponturi si informatii despre ce anume puteti vizita si cum. Am putut lasa bagajele dupa check out si astfel ne a ajutat enorm. Va multumim pt ospitalitate !

Patul a fost extrem de comfortabil, camera foarte curata, micul dejun acceptabil ( tipic italian-adica biscuiti, corn cu gem, dulce), ne-am putut folosi de un fier de calcat ceea ce m-a bucurat mult, receptia a fost foarte prietenoasa, am primit sfaturi si recomandari foarte bune de la domnul Andrea. Dispunerea hotelului chiar la malul marii, terasa foarte spatioasa, dotata cu mobilier de terasa, camera foarte curata, si un mare plus pentru parcarea langa locatie. We had the 2 person room, large enough for a table and chairs as well as a 2 person sofa. Fridge, wardrobe, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. (Supply your own milk) Shower room with a decent sized cubicle. Toiletries supplied and a hairdryer. Decent WiFi signal. Comfortable double bed on a mezzanine platform, accessed by a narrow but perfectly safe staircase. Small courtyard where you could sit outside and breakfast was served here. Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and cereal. Selection of meat and cheese. Bread, croissant and focaccia and scrambled eggs. Fruit juice and tea or coffee. All bought to your own table. Room made up each day. Quiet location up a side street. 10 to 15 minutes walk from the station. Not too steep location. In the centre of Monterosso.

I liked everything! The location, the beach, the bungalow has an awesome view. The staff is very helpful and attentive to one needs. They also are nice and very energetic. You can also access the premises by a 20 Minutes walk along the beach to go to the city for a drink or for a “Gelato”but please do not walk the tunel, it is only for cars. They also rent “Vespas” Kayaks and SUPs so if you like adventure this is the right place for you. They also have a restaurant and a small store if you don’t want to leave the complex. Book in advance since everyone love this place!
