Good location and facilities to explore the area.
Good location and facilities to explore the area. Good base camp. Lots of visitors coming to use the boats to visit the lake and Islands. It was nice to have this on the doorstep. The accommodation I would describe as ‘glamping’ so if you’re happy with the noise of the animals and visitors to the beach then it works well. Food: good choice and staff very friendly . The new Govt. booking system to visit anywhere is painstakingly slow; let’s hope they sort this ! The plastic rubbish is sad and shocking although we did meet some local groups who clear this.

Naivasha is an absolute amazing town down all the way to the lake side. Boat rides are breathtaking which give you an opportunity to come close to Hippos and fishermen doing their thing. Wonder is these fishermen cast their nets feet away from the Hippos, LAWWDD!! Fish is delicious, straight from the lake LOL
Night life is lively but you'll have to know the best crowds.
I'd go back every weekend if it were possible

We are very familiar with Kenya and think of it as our second home! We hadn’t visited Naivasha for some years and were keen on finding a quiet tented camp close to the waters edge. We slipped up! Clearly, Naivasha has seen a great deal of property development and we caution travellers to carefully seek out a pleasant place to stay - price matters and the long established Lake Naivasha Country Club (formerly a Block Hotels establishment) is still a super place to stay. There are others. Choose carefully!

Spent 4 days using Naivasha as a home base.
100% recommend crescent island
Hells Gate - with a guided tour stopping at the geo thermal spa. Do not go alone around Hells Gate Park
If you can head up to Lake Nakuru it is an amazing national park with loads of animals and very easy to driver your own car around.
Tip - take snacks and water into all parks as there are no places to stop for food
Super friendly, lovely and helpful owner! Located in a gated community, not directly in naivasha, but still close to the main road heading to naivasha town or Hells Gate Nationalpark with a matatu. We had a private room with our own bathroom, kitchen and living room is going to be shared with the family living there. You really get an opportunity to live with this friendly family in this homestay! Make sure to contact the owner right after booking, because the location in the map is incorrect.
Surrounded by a flower farm, the location is beautiful. However, it is away from the main town, and access to the main conference facility of Lake Naivasha Resort is a little tricky as taxis usually come from the town in most cases. It is however walking distance on a dusty road to the LNR if you are happy to walk there.
The location is very homely, very neat and clean with options to share a house or stay alone. Hot water, good internet, but no breakfast, so pack some snacks and food.
"I had an amazing stay at The Gem Hotel in Naivasha! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The candlelit dinner and entertainment provided in the evenings added a special touch to my stay. I highly recommend The Gem Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Thank you for making my stay such a wonderful experience!
I liked the location, the ambiance and the accessibility to the highway. I especially loved how friendly the staff were and specifically chef Irene who was really helpful, caring and went an extra mile to ensure I had the best stay at Triple Eden resort. The rooms were neat and cleaned well every morning for the four nights I spent there. Great value for money. Would highly highly recommend. Definitely going back soon this time not as a solo traveler.
This is the best villa I’ve stayed in while in the continent.
You can clearly tell that every tine detail was properly thought of.
I especially loved the view from the kitchen and the bedrooms, it was nothing short of the African magic that you always hear but rarely experience.
Jonathan organized a safari of Hells gate park and a boat ride into some island, our stay here was breathtaking and will definitely be back.
Out of this world kindness from Gloria and Grace, the receptionists... Those are the best staff the lodge has. Very understanding and ready to handle any client's requests. If it were not for especially Gloria, I would be planning to take my family back. Thank you Gloria!
Beautiful place with excellent customer care services. However the booking.com should stop charging Kenyans using dollars! The difference is quite huge basing on the fact that the shilling isn’t doing so well against the dollar.
I really liked the set up and the hands-on touch from the host.
The caretaker was also very welcoming and also available when needed.
The distance to town wasn't a bad commute either by public or bolt.
The hotel has a private park with zebras, jiraffes and anthilopes. This is really fantastic, you can approach them very closely! It's also possible to go on a boat trip to check hippos.
The nice location with a beautiful view (we were lucky to see a hippo walking through the river)! And also the facilities available in the accommodation, especially the jaccuzi.
