Surprisingly for a beach, you’ll find sand in short supply at Armação Beach. There are still a few stretches where you can kick back on your beach towel, and you'll find that watching the fishing boats heading out to sea is just as relaxing as sunbathing. Keep an eye out for the statue of Brigitte Bardot, who loved visiting Armação in the swinging sixties.
