Samarkand is a city rich with history, where every site has a story. The main attractions like Registan Square are stunning, and the local food is delicious. People here are very friendly and welcoming. I also found the city to be very safe. It's a great place that feels both ancient and welcoming.

Registan square is quite beautiful and a must visit place in Uzbekistan. In terms of food, there are very less options for Vegetarian food but have 2-3 good Indian restaurant where one can find some good Indian Veg food. Cabs are also very cheap here to roam around the city.

There are a lot to see in Samarkand given the fact that it's one of the most important cities in the silk road history. Don't miss the light show in the Registan Square. I didn't expect there are so many tress in the city given the fact that it's a landlock country here. Flowers blossom everywhere in spring. I am fascinated by the food here.

nice place, nice people, very friendly athmosphere.
nice place, nice people, very friendly athmosphere. The mausoleums, madrassas and musea (don't forget the museum at the mediaval city ruins) are truly remarkable. Don't forget to visit the university quarter (and the Theatre of historical costume «El merosi» and it's coffee bar).
A continuous struggle and ripping off by taxi drivers, so be informed of what you are supposed to pay. Perfect point to move on by train to Bukhara. Samarkand is a grand destination.
I love everything about this hostel it’s the best one in Uzbekistan. Sherzod is a traveler himself so he knows and understands what guest needs during their stay. He treats everyone like his own family! Old Radio is beautiful well decorated place, with a courtyard garden inside, it’s clean and right next to the mosque and few meters away from the Registan square and the breakfast is generous! Sherzod he’s so helpful! I will definitely recommend this hostel for everyone who travels in Samarkand! and I might come back and stay here again
This was by far the best standard of accommodation throughout my stay in Uzbekistan. My room was really spacious, comfortable, cozy and smart. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless.
Breakfast was amazing. It was served to you rather than a buffet like other places and there was lots of it.
The hotel is located in a quiet area close to Registan Square where you can then walk towards other key sites in Samarkhand.
I had a really comfortable and peaceful stay here and I would definitely recommend it.
Hands down the best guesthouse I stayed in during this trip around Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Spotlessly clean room facing a nice inner courtyard, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, strong wifi, perfectly positioned on a quiet street in close vicinity to the main attractions of this beautiful city.
The host deserves a special mention: a very friendly, warm and welcoming little pack of energy, always smiling, always running from one place to the other to make sure all the guests feel like at home.
Amazing place to stay in Samarkand ! the hotel is perfectly located, few minutes walking distance from Registan Place in the old city. The hotel is cosy and pretty, we felt at home, the room was big and very nice. This hotel has an authentic charm and a beautiful terrass, so romantic :) a special message to the staff "thank you for everything" they are wonderful people ! We spent two weeks in Ouzbekistan visiting different cities and Kamila Boutique Hotel was one of our favorite hotel.
Hospitable and helpful owners of the hotel, it is clear that they are trying, it is possible to use a microwave and refrigerator, you can warm up food.
Not a bad hotel. It is located quite far from the center, but there are a lot of taxis in the city. Breakfast is small but acceptable.
Kebabs in front of the hotel for Uzbekistan may not be bad, but not super good.
Would I recommend this hotel to my friends? Rather, yes, in terms of price-quality ratio, all the same, not bad.
1. One of the best hotel that we have visited during your stay in Uzbekistan.
2. Extremely friendly and polite Staff.

4. Hotel Staff helped us to park the car in a right secured place.
5. Hotel is well hotel decored.
6. Very good location.
7. Well working WIFI.
8. Very good restaurant with exelent service is located in the Hotel - great shashlik!
9. Possibily to pay by credit card.
I hope I could be back to this place again!
We stayed for 4 nights here and it was so peaceful and lovely. The hotel is located at a very convenient location and walkable to registan and main sightseeing spots. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was also a lot of food for breakfast daily. The facility is well maintained with beautiful wood carvings throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s visiting Samarkand!
- This is more like a guest house rather than a hotel. A family basically runs this place and they are very welcoming and nice hosts. They usually sit in the shop next to the hotel.
- The best thing about this place is the location. It is in the heart of the main tourist area.
- The room has an AC which for me was very useful as it was quite hot in Samarkand.
- Some nice restaurants right very close to the hotel.
The room was amazing, everything looks super-new and with good materials, it's just gorgeous.
Everything is very spaceous and clean, it feels really comfortable, it was the best hotel we stayed in Uzbekistan.
The staff from Negen Group was great and friendly, they speak fluent english which was very helpful for us.
They also have a spa with pool and sauna and the breakfast at the rooftop is also very nice.
Well organized long standing guesthouse in Samarkand where I already stayed many years ago during my first visit to Uzbekistan.
Friendly and well organized staff and owners, good professional service, perfect location near to the sights of Samarkand but still in a quiet local area.
Excellent breakfast buffet where you meet the most friendly and always smiling member of staff!
Card payment possible.
It was the best stay in Uzbekistan. The hotel located in old jewish district and it's so beautiful and interesting to walk. The watchman was the best person i've met during the trip. Really greatful to him I took his contact but lost it so if u can give me them please text. And breakfast was amazing too
Just enjoyed my stay here. Would stay again
I had a wonderful stay at this place. Always helpful staff, breakfast, and the view from the terrace is also excellent. The location is convenient in the city center. Also, it was a pleasure talking to the general manager of the hotel, who gave me great tips, on how to enjoy my trip in Uzbekistan
Of the four hotels/guesthouses where we have stayed in Uzbekistan, Antica has served the best breakfast . We didn't utilize the spacious courtyard, but it certainly contributes to the overall pleasantness of the hotel's atmosphere. If we return to Samarkand, we'll stay at Antica again.
The family is very sweet. they pick up us from the train station. offers us tea every day. the location is great very close to the center of Samarkand. the breakfast is great. the decoration of the hotel is very cute
Newly built and I have to say it was thee best hotel I stayed in Uzbekistan (out of four). I really couldn’t fault the hotel; hence 5 stars. It’s immaculate, clean and fantastic location!!
Family run hotel and the owner is Great! So friendly and welcoming and will help as much as humanly possible. The Best hospitality we experienced in all of Uzbekistan.
Very pleasant staff and even when light was switched in all region (it sometimes happen in Uzbekistan) they did everything, wifi, light and etc for I feel comfortable.
